No red card for Barron, is that so he can play away to Aberdeen?

Can Rangers even play him anyway as they still owe the Dons money?

Side ball will feel the weight of the sheep support on Wednesday, his wee balls will drop as they have in every must win game.
A bang average player, hyped to become a superstar-as we have saw, numerous times over the last few years with them.

I might be alone in this but I genuinely think we've seen fewer 'honest mistakes' since Collum came in.

Put it this way. Rangers have not had a single penalty awarded in the league and have had two given against them. That's actually astonishing considering they had world-leading penalty statistics for about two-and-a-half seasons running.

Absolutely there will still be biased refs up to shenanigans but I think two things have changed: 1) More scrutiny, both from outside and within about their suss statistics; 2) Hun refs working out they can't win the league even with a 12th man.

I'm not saying things are all above board but I'm more positive about refereeing now than I was at any point over the last several seasons.

I called it out that beaton would be appointed for this game so some things haven't changed and should be no where near sevco games if we can take colum seriously.

So the VAR panel agreed we SHOULD have had a penalty given after Daizen was fouled against Motherwell.

And they all said Barron's high boot WASN'T a red.

Means * all now then but shows we're still getting shafted by VAR and the huns are still benefiting.

How Barron never saw red but Yang did last season is beyond a joke.

That Yang one last season was a disgrace. He deserved a booking out of stupidity but it was never a red.

Collum doing his monthly video saying if something is right or wrong publicly may have some affect. I do think he has tried to cover a few bad decisions but he has called out some bad ones too.

Haven’t seen the videos of him analysing decisions, but fair play if he is at least calling decisions out. Unlike Dermot Gallagher on Sky. That eejit just goes out his way to defend the referees decision regardless of how bad it is.

Of course. The fact they had the benefit of VAR and still managed to get it wrong proves it. Wonder how many of these wrong decisions we will end up with by the end of the season compared to the huns.

Honestly they videos have made me have so much more leeway towards refs decisions, they’ve hid nothing for me. I’ve disagreed with some decisions they stand by, I’ve been annoyed with ones they’ve admitted was wrong. But they’ve shown the thought process, shared the conversations, been open about everything there. Thats something UEFA/FIFA really dont want, we’re trailblazers with this. And it’s something I never thought we would see in Scotland, refs always held themselves above and unquestionable. Always. I applaud the communication since Collum took charge. And i * despised him his full career, he was my teacher and I thought he was a weasel. Plot twist majorly this season now hes took over I respect him majorly

Yup the transparency has been great same with how they interpret things. Just need to work on consistency and reducing the mistakes.

There’s been some mistakes, like a penalty we should have got first game of the season, that made sense how they got to that decision, and they admitted it was wrong… but it happened because a similar but different thing happened Dundee Utd game that weekend, and they were trying too hard to be consistent. And they got it wrong through that.

Hearing how they got to an obviously bad call, * like that makes me kinda shrug and say fair enough. I’ve watched the two they put out reviews, with a mate whos very similar football views as me, we are as biased as the other for and against the same teams. And we had several arguments about if some they realised were right or wrong. Both us saying can see why they’ve went that way.

Me and him disagreeing on decisions, in a review programme, with the audio, slow mo etc. it’s not really as straightforward as we all think sometimes :56:

I forgive a lot of sins just hearing how a * decision has been decided on as an honest * decision. Because years gone by, theres a lot thats not felt honest to me

Just a terrible ref that lanky * isn't he..

    The McGregor booking
The tackle on Kuhn he let go first half that left Kuhn down holding his ankle, whilst immediately blowing for a cheap sheep freekick to whip in to our box

    Happened quite a few times..

Obviously no a big deal but he's really pathetic..

I always said that if refs just came out after a * up, held up their hands and said they'd watched it in slow motion and from multiple angles and now they were sorry and changed their minds, and would put it in the report as such, there'd be very little pushback on most...

Var seemed to have * any possibilities of that, but maybe it's actually opened a backdoor to accountability that we'd never have gotten otherwise... * to still see these mistakes, but they ARE getting less frequent and shown up officially now...

He's genuinely a terrible, terrible referee and it blows my mind that he can fail upwards to the extent of ending up in charge of the whole thing. He has one major advantage, though: I'm certain he's not biased. In Scottish football, that actually makes him the best man for the job after all.
