Well at least 17 points behind.

VAR decisions that have directly effected the outcome of a match they have been involved in = 11 points for them

Var decision that directly effected out match va hearts

So aye league would have been mathematically over last night if they hadn't got the patternofassistance

Exactly, and that in turn affects hearts. Were they to finish 2nd then they would have had a couple of qualifiers for the champions league, if they were to lose either of them then I’m sure they would have gone straight into europa league group stage

Point being, they would be closer to 3rd place than they are to us, and all these bizarre decisions they seem to get going for them is also damaging for other teams in the league outwith us

I've got to be honest, I think that's a penalty.

Yeah, I didn’t think it was a fouk on AJ and Vickers defo wiped out the man. Was strange because Robertson never signalled until Vickers challenge, even then thought he had pointed to the spot. Defo got off with one

It was a penalty, never a foul on AJ. Ref bottled it pure and simple, take it however. Although I keep seeing it’s cost them the game blah blah, such a simplistic way of looking at it. If they get that pen then their centre half isn’t in our box in the last minute.

It was so strange the way he pointed to the spot and then changed it and then we got VAR ignoring such an obvious error, it has me wondering if they're worried that they've been too blatant of late and are trying to even it up a bit. Especially doing it in a cup game so that they can keep giving the Huns everything in the league.

Let's face it, it's the league that really counts- especially this year! The next time the Huns get yet another dubious decision in the league or we get another VAR performance like at Tynecastle, all the journalists are going to point to this decision today to dismiss our concerns.

Maybe I'm a bit paranoid, but it really was weird.

I disagree it was a penalty. CCV was in the act of kicking the ball and Hoilet threw himself into his action of kicking.

Hoilet was never in control of the ball, he already had one knee on the ground and was already going down before contact.

It has to be a clear and obvious error for VAR to overrule the original decision. It's not clear and obvious.

Even though I was convinced it was a penalty at the time, I’ve just seen another video from the side when carter vickers makes the challenge. Hoilett gets up and runs towards the ball then when vickers goes to clear the ball, Hoilett throws his leg in but doesn’t look like he’s actually going for the ball, just to try and get his leg in front of carter vickers clearance and looking for the penalty. Not convinced now it’s as stonewall as everyone is making out.

Think Hoilet had already came from behind and fallen in front of CCV before he went to try and clear it. Didn’t think it was a penalty.

Nah not for me either, for me it's a foul on AJ, regardless of softness and Hoilett just puts his leg out to make contact with CCV.

I would agree with you if it was similar to the Anthony Gordon one in England; but in that case, his foot was never within playing distance of the ball and he just stuck his foot into the trajectory of Phillips' foot to try to get a foul. In this case, though, the Aberdeen player's foot is touching the ball (or nearly so).

I don't particularly blame CCV for this situation (the player comes from behind him and CCV does an outstanding job pulling his swing, or I suspect the Aberdeen player would have left the stadium on crutches); but for me, it's still a penalty.

If it's at the other end, I'm raging.

Haven’t seen any replay or angle from it that convinces me Hoilett was trying to play the ball, he was playing for the pen and trying to make contact with ccv all day.

The hun tears over this are delicious though.

Did we not get denied a pen a few weeks ago when the exact same thing happened to Kyogo ?

Yep, huns we're demanding Kyogo get banned for diving when you can clearly see he was fouled.

Just watched the replays of the one today, Hoilet is embarrassing himself there and the huns all screaming for a pen hahahaha

Originally thought it was a pen and we got lucky with the AJ foul. But having seen it back its a pure act from Hoilet, who 1) isn't in control of the ball and 2) blatantly plays for the pen.

The Kyogo one at Livi was a stonewall penalty. Kyogo was ahead of the defender the entire time and the defender went through the back of him.

Butland wiped out Duk in the Rangers Aberdeen final and it was a clear penalty. Funny enough I don't remember Rangers fans admitting that was a pen. Or the shirt pull identical to the one they got a pen for the week before.

I originally thought it was a pen but
    a) that kind of foul on AJ gets given against us every game, so I have no issues when it goes out way.
    b) Seeing it from different angles, the guy was playing for it, nowhere near the ball, not in control and at full stretch wasn't getting there.
