If Dessers had played the ball before the contact they'd maybe have an argument, but as it was he simply impeded the kick of Gus and robbed the ball after. Clear foul

There was a pen they got against us last year that was very similar. I think it was Starfelt slid in to block a shot/cross from Sakala (I think) and he kicked Starfelt's leg and went down. Tbh I didn't think it should be a pen but they can't have it both ways - the problem is they usually do get it both ways, whichever way suits them, and they can't handle it when it goes against them (very occasionally).

Seeing Butlands push on Kyogo again, could’ve been a pen too.

Wasn’t aware a keeper can just shove someone to the floor in the aftermath of a shot being cleared off the line.

The disallowed goal was spot on despite delusional huns on tv trying to claim otherwise. How satisfying is it watching them mutants cheering like * when they think the ref gave the goal btw :56:

Actually shocked today with the officials, all the big calls correct and not scared to make them. Weird.

    Same. Especially those specific referees.

Don Robertson actually had a decent game today.

Under the spotlight and under scrutiny from eufa no doubt. Wouldn’t be for any other reason.

There's more chance of them accepting that they no longer "are the peepell"

Na. He was already on his way down when you see it replayed.
At first I thought we got away with one there but was just a strong challenge which Cantwell did his usual anticipation dance and

I don’t understand why there’s even an argument or debate, especially from their manager. It points to not knowing the rules of football which must be a massive concern for hun fans.

In real time it didn’t look like a foul, however, as soon as you watch a single replay you can see Lagerbike has went to pass the ball and has been impeded in doing so by his opponent. You can try and argue from any angle you want but it’s a basic and simple foul and there’s no way the ref could have given it anything but having watched it back.

I swear I’ve seen it 40 times now and it feels as if Sky and others are trying to dissect it until something else magically pops out to them as if they talk about it that much the actual facts will change.

Agree completely. Its a foul every day of the week and twice on Sundays and would say the same if it was at the other end. Too much is being made on the fact our player dithered on the ball. Shouldn't even be part of the conversation. He went to pass the ball and was fouled by being tripped in the process of doing so. I'm still struggling to see how its even up for debate.

I know. I don’t even properly understand why it’s controversial, other than because Huns and other anti-Celtic pundits (such as that carrot Savage) want it to be because they were loving the thought of them managing to put one past us despite us being the better team at the time.

Him dithering on the ball is somehow being linked to it not being a foul. Bizarre.

See tbh, Robertson, although culpable for some v Hunnish-looking calls in the past (such as that outrageous second yellow for Starfelt vs County away a while back) is one of those that I feel is more just inconsistent and generally not v good in what is probably a more honest way than we realise. I see him on Sportscene blowing hot and cold every week. Good decisions one match and absolute howlers the next, but it does seem to happen against all teams with him.

Similar to Kevin Clancy, except that on occasion he has a good game like yesterday, whereas KC is invariably rubbish.

How hard is it to understand. Its written in the * rules ffs lol.

If Dessers had touched the ball first, then it would've been a foul against us. Because he doesn't, and Lagerbielke had already gone to kick the ball, it's a foul for us as it's basically obstruction with no intent to play the ball.

    * me the huns just don't have a clue. VAR got it spot on to the rules of the game, yet its still cheating by us. Even * ex prem ref Gallagher doesn't know the rules.:56::56::56::56::56:

I’ve been on a couple of their sites, loving the greetin, it’s magic. They clowns are now saying when Cantwell flung himself to the ground in the 2nd half it was a stonewaller.
