Holiday Plans 2025

12 of us off to Vale do Lobo in Algarve start of March, third year we've done it, 4 days of birdies, divots, wild shots, some easy and some hard holes...and we'll play some golf too.

 

Alicante for 4 nights next month. Any recommendations of things to do or cool places to check out would be welcomed.

If you don't mind a bit of a trek, Parc de l'Ereta. A great dander up a big hill, through wee streets with lovely wee houses n *, then a cracking view from up yonder.

Majorca in April for a week. Not been in years
Trying to get to Sicily or if I cant, Italy sept or oct for a week….. but not Rome, to much to see, so your knackered when you get back.

Oof that's immense. House on the Lough is the * dream! Lap it up man, amazing.

 

Sounds like the kind of place to keep in the family for generations to come. I imagine the work will be so much easier to do with that in mind, pour your hearts and souls into it. Fantastic Paul.

 

Sapporo snow festival yesterday.

Sapporo brewry tour today. Got to try Sapporo Classic which is a beer only available in Hokkaido.

 

Lots of lovely tapas bar around the old town down by the harbour.

 

Next up for me is a trip out west at the end of March for a week in Death Valley national park in California and a couple of extra days in Las Vegas. We are going to Death Valley with a tour company backcountry tours I think as an experiment as they take you to some very hard to get to places so if we like how this trip goes we will likely use them again in the future.
Other than heading home to Ireland for a bit have not nailed down the summer plans yet.

 

I lived there for a couple of years when I was a kid near Ballyshannon. I think Donegal might be the most beautiful and under the radar so to speak part of Ireland.

 

Always found it pure magical as a boy going over, like something in the air that makes it different. My favourite place on the planet mate.

Up north in a lodge hot tub thing next month. If there's snow then we'll have a day or 2 skiing while there.

Currently between 11 nights Cyprus or 11 nights dubai in may.

Then some random cheap week in September ish that won't be booked until a couple days before. See what deals and random place we end up.

 

I was considering America at some point but with the current political Climate I’ll go to Canada instead if I can. Got a few friends that live there and maybe a chance to meet some horror actors when I’m there.

 

Will do. I should get some really amazing ones too. My wife is a very good * photographer and thats a big part of what this trip involves including we are going to go to some great hard to get to locations in the park and getting what should hopefully be some spectacular pictures including nighttime ones. I am really hoping the tour group we are using proves to be a good one as they do some really exciting international trips that I want to do. The company is called Action Photo Tours so will let you know what we think of the company too. Some of the trips we are looking at if this one goes well are so exciting so I am really hoping this goes well plus this trip itself should be a great experience.
