Tony Mowbray has confirmed there has been interest in Andreas Hinkel, but does not expect the full-back to leave Celtic before Tuesday's UEFA Champions League tie with Arsenal.
Hull City have been linked with a move for Hinkel[IMG] as Tigers boss Phil Brown[IMG] steps up his search for a right-back after missing out on Habib Beye.[IMG]
The German started Celtic's 3-1 win at Aberdeen[IMG] on Saturday and is expected to be in the team when Arsenal visit Parkhead in midweek.
Mowbray[IMG] is aware that other clubs are looking at Hinkel, but does not believe the 27-year-old is seeking a move away from the Old Firm giants.
    Slim chance

"We are aware of some interest and there has been interest since the day I came here," said Mowbray.
"I don't think Andreas is in any rush to leave this football club and we are in no rush to move him on.
"But as I said before, if we are going to rotate our squad around and improve certain areas, then if the right deal comes along for this club we will assess it and see if it is something that we want to do or not.
"No firm contact has been made and so we will wait and see.
"But I would suggest that there is a very slim chance that he will be away before Tuesday night.
"While young (Paul) Caddis has done well in pre-season games, it is a big game to thrown him into so I would suggest that Andreas will still be here on Tuesday."

That confirms it for me, Hinkel will play on tuesday then he's off.:38:
He is at least worth 6m.

imo Hinkel leaving depends on the overall result in the CL qualifier we go through he stays if not out get dosh in balance the books hes been a constant source of frustration for me while i believe he is a good player at times defensively and with his final ball when in a really good position he has me spitting out my pint but i suppose if he's on the ball to lose it he's at least trying dunno split on whether or not i want him to go :97:

Bolton paid 10 million for elmander, he can't even get in front of a 38 year old henrik larsson in the SWEDISH national team. 1.5 million is just a joke.

I think that Caddis can do solid work out there.
Hinkel is slow for a full back,he proved yesterday how good defender he is.:31:
    Bring Caddis on.
