Both of our penalties were absolute stone wallers, don’t let anyone tell you any different. No grey area on either of them. Stone. Wall.

 

Not many pass marks tonight however, Hart for the crucial saves he made, Ralston for that challenge which lead up to our 2nd goal and Idah for his cool head taking the penalties. Bad points - Bernabei. Kuhn, Abada, Palma - just not good enough. Worrying points - MOR seems to have lost his form, Calmac not as influential as he usually is and the reluctance of our players to take on a man and have a pot at goals.

Bernabei had a great second half, he stood up and got stuck in when very little others were. He was certainly one of our better players tonight, seems to be one of those players who can't do right for doing wrong

Appart from the 3 points won, the rage from Boyd helped take my mind off our performance

aye was just another * poor display and nothing seems to be changing. This is the business end of the season and each week our eyes are being bleed with performances like this it’s simply not good enough and something is needing Changing. Despite the win it’s still fkn frustrating

 

Fuming with the 2nd half performance, delighted with the points for the travelling fans! But * me it's torture to watch. We where well and truly spoiled with ange.

 

Aye, two fairly unsualy ones but stonewallers. Going through someone with the head late is just the same as a slide tackle, then same with the one on Kyogo almost every freekick you see is someone sliding in and fouling after the ball is played, just you rarely see it happen after a shot.

Im sure our first game with VAR Hearts got 2 penalties for that same type of Kyogo one where they hit two shots and were caught after it.

 

This is another reason why we are so different from the huns. We won the game tonight but the vast majority of us are still disappointed with our performance and that we needed two penalties to win. The hun fans on the other hand don't give a * how they win or how many of their results have been achieved by blatant cheating from the officials - just as long as they win.

 

Cause they've barely won anything in decades, they're just desperate to see trophies won.

We've won plenty, we need treated to good football to enjoy the winning.

If we go on and win a double it will probably be the worst we've done while winning since Strachan's 2nd or 3rd seasons. His 3rd season was terrible mind although ended in the famous beating of the huns twice with Jan and McDonald etc but the football that season was utter *. This would be the same.

Good chance it will happen as well as I think we will beat the huns in the 2 games, we do control the game well against them and we have more space to open them up and get in behind etc but the League games against all the dross playing 10 at the back is like watching paint dry.

 

No doubt our penalties will be scrutinised to * by the SMSM and the usual ex refs they roll out when we get a decision

 

That was a tough game to process but once the emotions have died down a bit you have to be pleased with the result.

Even better when you see the huns fuming over it. They were absolutely sickened by that. Magic
