my * we really missed mulgrew or commons without both in the team we lost all effectiveness and did not look a threat at all from any set play the whole game ,hibs looked hungrier from first whistle to last,to many empty celtic jerseys today imo

Think Izzy is a bit complacent at left back as he has no competition. Maybe Lenny should rectify that in the Debenham's January sale

    Environmentally friendly wind power.

Dunno why so many are slating Lennon's team selection and formation today. From what I could see we were playing the exact same way as we've been playing for weeks, and the only changes we made were enforced such as Rogne in for Mulgrew at the back.

The only real thing Lenny has got wrong all season is not trusting the youths enough. I have no doubt whatsoever that Forrest (when fit obviously), McGeouch, Twardzik, Ibrahim, Herron, Watt ect would have won us at least half the games we've lost this season because they have far more creativity than our senior players.

Fair enough, you need steel from people like Kayal, Brown and Wanyama but we have too many strong players and not enough skillful ones which is why we keep dropping points in the SPL, when all the opposition teams will sit back and play for a draw or 1-0 win.

We are one of a number of teams to have been brainwashed by the Barcelona model, and as such are guilty of trying to pass the ball into the back of the net. Arsenal have been doing that for years and winning * all with it, why we are going away from our roots of quick, exciting, wide football I don't know. We desperately lack width and pace in our play in the SPL, Sammy should never play in the league as it's just not his game and we need Forrest and McGeouch starting every week to drive at the opposition down the flanks.

Think we are also sadly missing a dead ball man when Charlie is out.

Kayal wasn't playing, that was his biggest mistake for me. Our most comfortable midfielder on the ball, drives forward for us. Fights for everything.

The whole DEFENCE is shaky and with a lead at the top you would think someone has told them all 5 mins before kick off were in a relegation battle. we have NEVER addressed the 2 centre half positions. Ambrose,Wilson & Rogne are not good enough to play for us.

The main problem about using a 3-5-2 formation is that it creates gaps and space, either through the middle or in the wide positions. This means you need pacy centre backs to be able to cover the space. Wilson and Ambrose are pacy but Rogne is not. Thats why we should have started with a 4-4-2 formation with Rogne sitting his * on the bench.

We also started a 3-5-2/3-4-3 formation with only two central midfielders. When you are playing a front 3 you need 3 centre mids behind them because more often than not, SPL teams will play 3 in the middle, we were playing 2vs3 in the middle of the pitch.

There are two mistakes, one with playing Rogne in a 3-5-2 formation, and 2 with not having Kayal on to make it 3vs3 in midfield. It took Lenny 25 minutes to spot this and by that time we were a goal down.

ambrose and wilson would have done ok in cb why didnt lustig just come in for mulgrew??? instead of changing several positions to get rogne into the team crazy decision by lennon

Can't agree with Ambrose and Wilson not being good enough as Wilson has turned his form around recently but had no support today in Rogne and Ambrose is one of the only players who knows what direction to run and ran past numerous Hibbies today given this is his 3rd different playing position so far. Also we missed Matthews today and Sammy is still too greedy.

Ambrose and Wilson made Messi look like a wee boy and have been brilliant in the Champions League - you know the best competition on the planet? * are you smoking mate? Rogne got done by one ball over the top but he's not played for months, he was quality last season. I think these are his last days at Parkhead though.

A year ago i'd have agreed with you but Kayal's been poor ever since he got injured by that hun *. Don't have any problem with picking Brown and Victor over him. I'd have Ledley ahead of him when fit as well.

Don't get me wrong if Kayal gets back to his best he's gotta be a starter though, was my fave player in 010-011.

I can't really argue with Neil Lennon at all here, he's spot on.

It's good to see him acknowledging his own mistakes as well.

Kayal has been like that the last few matches he has played, he has been the one on the ball driving us forward. This also gives Broony and Wanyama room to play, who need more space to play there game, he also looks for the ball, harries and harrases opponents.

He should have been in there next to Broony and Wanyama with Hooper actually playing upfront instead of attacking midfield, which Lassad and Sammy most definitely can't play together.

izzy was terrible today and for most of the season we need another lb for competition, sammy out wide so frustrating we need a natural left winger out there, hooper needs a partner as lassad is like sammy always coming out wide
