Who cares, Celtic will be champions of Scotland and the new filth will be (with the help of other) probably promoted from the 4th tier of Scottish football. But still * and starting to go into debt:56:

i respectfully disagree mate , speed and pace stretches a defence and tires them out , pace just doesnt mean going forward. a high possession ,slow build up game works right into a defensive game plan. of course this is only an opinion of a bricklayer :icon_mrgreen:

    * is that? :56:

Hibs defended very, very well. We couldn't break them down. Kayal, McCourt and Dylan should have been on earlier for me, maybe even Tony instead of Kayal. We had a stronghold on the game, we just couldn't create anything.

With most of our creative players injured that can happen. Look at our top assisters this season, Matthews, Commons, Mulgrew...

That's a bad defeat today, again, it's exactly the same as the Kilmarnock game and it's the starting line up. This Hibs team are * and we should be absolutely scudding them.

In a word PISH. Rogne, goodbye. He should be punted out the door. Wanyama and Ambrose get the ball and look for options, where are the options, nowhere. We walked into the trap of going for width, when Hibs were open right through the middle of the park.

Lassad, first team regular? Really. How does the team shape up if you play Lassad and not Samaras? Who knows. Did Hooper terrify their defense, no. Does playing Lassad or Samaras justify leaving Watt on the bench? Is Watt more effective than Hooper in the league? Again, we're left with more questions than answers.

It's not good enough, we had a better team sat on the bench. What we're looking for are combinations. I see Lassad and Samaras competing against each other, Lassad being the fall guy, but there were times when he was open for a pass, but Samaras is all about the Samaras show.

Who exactly is meant to be teaming up with Hooper? The three wide players? At the end of the day, you'd have to be naive to think that playing 3 wide men and a striker is a winning formula, christ, just put someone up front right next to Hooper.

Play a solid midfield. Don't have 2 defensive players as the only guys willing to go past a player. Forget Hooper, if ye take Mulgrew and Forrest out the team, we're not really that good at anything other than playing the ball out of defense. Where are the players to take the ball from midfield to the strikers, ahhh, that's right, let's put them all on the bench.

Lenny needs to get his priorities in order, drop Lassad or Samaras and play the homegrown talent. It's favouritism from Lenny, and even in the darkest months of December, the manager still doesn't know his best eleven.

No Mulgrew, fine play an extra midfielder, not guys that flatter to deceive out wide, with no cutting edge. Me personally, i'd cull a few players in January, and not based on this performance alone.

If Samaras stays fit, we don't need Lassad, he only adds to the confusion, because he will go and train like a demon and then turn up like a pussycat on match day.

But i don't think he's been helped by Samaras being too greedy and not playing the ball early enough, and Lenny not sure where they should be playing.

No denying that he played * today. Imo Rogne had that covered or at least could have forced it wide. Forster and Rogne were both in equal fault for the goal.
But for the rest of the game Rogne looked lost. And in fairness kind of expected after not playing for a long time. Hibs played at a really high tempo today and our tactics weren't covering it. Our midfield was over-ran by Hibs', leaving our defence exposed far too much.
It changed a bit when we went to a back 4, but when that happened the appropriate subs should have been made. (possibly for me, Watt, Kayal, McGeouch/McCourt should have been on for Lassad, Rogne, and Samaras).

Izaguirre and McCourt were two of today's high points.

Have to say, the Hibs guy McPake had a stormer, got his head on everything and some vital interceptions.

Minimal impact. Didn't get two touches of the ball.

Im sorry Izaguirre was * awful today and frankly has been all season.

Defending and positioning is highly suspect, his distribution is shocking at times, final ball is a 50/50 and can't seem to beat a man anymore.

He was definitely not a high point, agree about McCourt though i was pleasantly surprised by his impact.
