Stokes and hooper get on it well it seems.

On the pitch they score goals, and off the pitch there is some good banter! Who seen the interview after the game? Hooper slagging Stokesy for not getting a hatrick :56:

Godd stuff! Also McCourt been quieter and quieter as games go on. Ledley worth a punt out left?

1st half pretty awful, but 2 quick goals either side of half time, made it a comfortable afternoon in the end.

Izzy outstanding again, this guy grows on me with every game.

Lenny must be happy with today's performance. Three goals and another clean sheet for Forster and the defence. Best defence in Scotland, and we have a superior goal difference to Rangers.

Didn't think Forrest was that bad myself. Poor first half but once Kayal got into gear the whole team shifted up. Thought the movement from middle to front was excellent but let's not kid ourselves, Hibs are gash.

The second half kinda reminded me of when MON's teams used to go to Easter Road and slap them about a bit. Nice.

If Kayal gets 8/10, and Stokes 9/10, how can there be joint MOTM

its all about the first goal when we play teams , they know we struggle against the 4/5/1 ,it puts pressure on our strikers to be efficient ,our defence to be 100% focused ,its taking everything to get in front and mostly when we do we play better ,i think we are setting up better against teams although i think we really need a hartson type striker to help get the first goal easier and take the pressure of the whole team.

Very please with the performance. The Hamilton debacle had me worried but you always expect a few banana skins from those bottom feeder clubs. I just felt we should have handled the whole thing better.

I wanted to see it get back more to the style with which we gutted the huns at their own lair. Today was close to that, but let's not get too excited Hibs, especially in defence, have been pish this season.

But even so, there were some great performances today. Kayal standing tall again, him and Brown were hunting as a pair to breakup attacks, brilliant. The game passed Pat Mc Court by for a while in the first half but izzy , as always , kept battling up and down that left wing without rest.

Last 10 mins of first half and throughout the second half we took control and sliced Hibs wide open at will. This is what I expect to see, a bit of confidence and bossing the game. I thought every player knew their job and played for each other.

I was well pleased with the performance and the result.

    Point won Hamilton?

You never know if we win the laegue by a single point them the last minute penalty from Stokes would have been critical the other night!

Wait until May as this is a helter skelter run in for the treble!

The confidence came back with the goal. I'll take 3 nil and 3 points away from home any time.

Hooper goal was outstanding him and stokes linked up well a lot better from stokes today.

Kayal gets better and better with each game outstanding once again .

Kayal is proper class, already consider him one of our best players. Izaguierre was fantastic, as well. Hooper's technique for his goal was sublime, and Stokes' 2nd was just brilliant. 2nd half performance was very pleasing.

    Broony!
Hoopers composure for his goal was world class - if that was Messi, folk would be raving. Same for Stokes second! The performance was good enough to see them off and for the first time in a long time we're not talking about refs. Although to be fair some folk have complimented his performance today, so lets just say; Kayals yellow was harsh bearing in mind some of the hibs challenges in before his, De Graaf should have been off for persistent and why did Stevenson (I think?) not walk for giving away the pen, being the last man and all??? And no, this is not the rant of a paranoid Tim. I'm merely pointing out what I saw in front of me!
Regardless, it's another very good 3 points in the bag, with a clean sheet, both strikers scoring and no-one injured!!!
    Go on the Hoops!!!
