Why does it take until injury time to start showing the intensity and tempo required? It is incredibly frustrating. In saying that, a proper striker would have scored a hat-trick today. Days like today are why Eddy drives me mad, all the talent in the world but isn't willing to work at the parts of his game that need it. He will win you games from nothing, he often has, but at the same time will cost you points by failing to do the main requirements of his job.

I would have brought Weah on instead of Sinclair. Sinclair looks a beaten docket, he is trying too hard and overthinking everything. There is no point in having that pace if you need to think about it.

For those who will inevitably slag off Lennon after this, this game was the most reminiscent of Rodgers' final months here. No urgency or intensity, plenty of unnecessary passing and a fear of shooting. This malaise didn't start under Lenny, but he must take some flak for continuing it.

It was a * result mate,we should be winning these games.
Its the expected winning results that are forgotten not results that potential decide a managers fate(not just this * result but the others under lenny and the performances).

Fair enough we have been pretty average performance wise this season but that doesnt make it acceptable,this was a team lenny would be familiar with and we still failed to break them down.

I agree I’d have had Weah on before him. Probably at the same time but do you genuinely not see the logic of bringing on one of your top goalscorers when hiu need a goal?

 

Looking at Lenny I worry for his health, he looks totally shattered and stressed out.

 

Eddy had one chance and it was a good save. Also came close with a good free kick.
If you want a striker who converts 100% of his chances you will need 100 million.
He's done a great job for us this season and has earned us untold points.
