As an outsider looking in it seems as though he has far too many people in his ear telling him what to do.

I'm not overly confident about this one.

Not in squad to play Standard Liege. Make of that what you will...

He's probably on the move. But unfortunately, I don't think it will be to us.

Over the pat few months, we’ve covered a bit about KAS Eupen’s Henry Onyekuru, but never a transfer story.

The articles have normally been about the player’s desire to one day play for Arsenal, a club he grew up watching, idolising Thierry Henry along the way.

However, according to RTBF in Belgium, the player might have his platform to one day play for Arsène Wenger’s side, with an apparent approach from Celtic.

The Belgian website claim the player will not be playing on Thursday night against Standard Liège, disappointed at how Eupen have dealt with various offers made for him, including the one from Celtic Park.

RTBF even go as far as claiming the Jupiler Pro League side don’t actually know where the winger currently is, as he tries to force a move away.

Details of Celtic’s offer are also revealed, with Brendan Rodgers’ side reportedly offering €1.5m for the 19-year-old, an offer Eupen have rejected for now.

Even if a move to Celtic Park would make sense for the player at this stage in his career, considering the form he has been in, his current side do not want to sell him midway through the season unless they can get €4m for him.

Liverpool are also said to be interested in the player, yet you feel that if the forward wants to one day play for Arsenal, game time will be key in his development, something he might not get at Anfield.

If Celtic can offer €4m, the player is theirs, it seems.

    His attitude sounds questionable.

All he needs to see are the previous examples we have turned over - Van Dijk, Wanyama, Forster and most likely Moussa at some point. Spend the £3-4 mill then turn him over for £15m + in a year or two, win win for both parties

I hate this sort of thing and I'm always a little bit concerned when I see it about a player we're apparently interested. If he's willing to do it at his current club, what's to say he won't do it again the future.

A player with that sort of attitude could really * us over if another club starts showing an interest in the future. He's definitely talented, but if this story is true, it does make me a little wary of him.

Stephen McGowan of the Daily Mail has said that Onyekuru's club have denied that he has been dropped for their game tonight.

EXCLUSIVE: BELGIAN CLUB BLOCKING MY TRANSFER CRIES OUT NEW NIGERIA STAR ONYEKURU

    Thursday Jan 26, 2017. 15:30
New Nigerian shooting star in Europe Henry Onyekuru has cried out that his Belgian club AS Eupen are now standing in the way of his transfer to perennial Scottish champions Celtic.

AfricanFootball.com exclusively reported that Celtic have tabled an official bid for the Nigerian striker, but it now seems the transfer may be scuttled going by what the player is telling AfricanFootball.com

He has alleged Eupen now want him to work with another agent and not his agency Macato Sports and they want him to move to Russian champions CSKA Moscow.

"Eupen are acting funny on my transfer. They are frustrating me and my agent for their own interest,” blasted the striker, who has taken Belgium by storm this season.

“They promised to let me move in January if I have a good offer, now there are good offers but they now want me to sign for their own agent before I move and they want me to sign for CSKA Moscow which I am not interested in.

“This is unfair and not acceptable."

Hmmm......if true, I'm can't say that I'd be too impressed with this attitude if he were my player already.

Imagine in a few years if he were a Celtic player (one under a contract!) and Southampton came calling, and this * was doing the rounds in the media. We'd all be going berzerk at him!

Not a massive fan of players who take the huff when they don't get a move.

I would still take him. Even if he's a huffy * it would just mean he's playing well and we are due a good fee. A good problem to have

You'd be excused in thinking this was a Nigerian habit with Peter Odemwingie, but then I remembered we can't shift Efe........

I'd usually think it was * but if the club are trying to dictate wherehe moves and whichagent he uses etc, he's quite right to make a fuss

That is how i'm seeing it, if your employer is telling you they want you to go through a different recruiter or that they don't want you going to a certain company and you want you to join somewhere you'd flip a lid and say it's my decision where I want to go.

IF and it's a big IF it's true how the club are handling him then I wouldn't be overly concerned over his attitude right now.

Until he does the same to us, first time an English club comes calling..
