I was 5 years old when I moved to Scotland the same year Larsson signed, lived there for the entirety of his contract, and then moved back to the US the same year he left.

I feel very privileged to have watched him in the flesh during my time there. What a role model for a young boy.

He knew what it means to play for Celtic.

Time only ever cements further what he gave our club and us as fans. As more fleeting ‘icons’ come and go he refused all comers, of even greater stature than Arsenal, Leicester and Spurs. To then conquer Europe and the EPL as an old man with his best years already passed in the hoops.

That’s why he will go down as not only an all time Celtic great but for generations upon generations of fans, he is our hero.

We’ll never get a player like Henrik again in terms of footballing ability and loyalty.

It's unheard of. We could strike gold in terms of footballing ability, but there's no way in * we'll see that kind of loyalty to go along with it.

Agreed mate. I remember as a 14 year old greeting my eyes out at his last game v Dundee United. I think many of us knew at the time we would never get better than that. A total gent of a guy as well by all accounts.

Imo Henrik should be our new manager with broony and Martin O'Neil. Now there's a team you'd run through walls for.HH

I would like him in as Assistant Manager or some role within the back room staff. If John is off.

Although this is a dream.....I dont want Henke anywhere near it.

Imagine if the unthinkable happens and he goes through a bad period....could you lambast him for it?

Plus the board are *...they would * him over like most of the others if needed.

Hes to big a legend imo

Larsson is a gash manager and I'd rather he stayed away. Brown is unproven and O'Neil is far past it.

Apparently is a decent coach though, but can't see him wanting to come back in that capacity nor is he probably the best we could get.

Would be both smart and brilliant to bring him in as assistant.
