I'm 26 this year but I can remember teams from the early 90s when I must have been about 3 or 4. Think I attended my first game in 94/95 before I'd even started school.

Mad to think there's people out there that never seen him with their own eyes.

I think it's one of those where videos and dvds make you remember things easier. I have a clear picture in my head of stuff from the 80s and 90s but a lot of it is from watching videos over and over again as a wee man.

Also when you are young you get so engrossed in it too. I would read the Celtic View cover to cover every week and Sportscene and Scotsport was compulsive viewing. You're like a sponge at that age so soak it all in.

Going off on a tangent here but, squads were smaller back then too, only 2 subs :56: so when you were in the park playing footie you would be rattling off the players so easily. There's times now when I completely forget that some players played for us in the late 2000's etc.

    :71: slightly haha

Same, it makes me feel old and I'm only 25. I remember being gutted as a bairn when Larsson cut his dreads off haha. No idea why it bothered me

My first game was 04/05 but to be honest I didn't have a clue what was going on. Became ingrossed in the club in 06/07 which was a brilliant season.

I'm sure it was against Raith rovers while I was a kid in the Raith end and easily 50% of us was shouting "come on larson!" :56: I also may have fell a sleep shortly after... I was young :56:

Saw Larsson when we played against GAIS in our Swedish friendly tour back in 2003, can't say I remember that much of it.

Think was my first game at CP and I was in the Raith end too. Think there were more Celtic in the away end than Raith fans

Larsson was an unused sub in that game. That can't have happened very often.

That'll make most of us feel a little better!

Being an American, who doesn't travel much, I haven't been to a game at Celtic Park since the 03/04 season. I feel lucky that all four of the games I've been to were in the Larsson/MON era.

Time really has been flying... didn't we all just bring in the new millennium a few years ago?!

Could be a quiz question in years to come. Kept out the team by Tommy Johnson and Mark Burchill :giggle1:

He must have had 2 broken legs, 2 broken arms and the man flu if he was only on the bench! I was lucky and had my season book during his time (pre kids in the good old days) so saw many matches and feel lucky to have seen him in the flesh in his prime. He could miss a sitter one minute then pull something out the top drawer 5 mins later. It was his overall work rate and ability to lose his marker that were unreal and as you`ll know you notice those things in a stadium far more as you do on the telly. Think that's why the Barca and Man U fans also took too him as much. Legend :50:
