    You cant say that. Ferguson got fired at St Mirren, Pep will get fired at Man City, Mourinho got fired at Chelsea, Brendan got fired at Liverpool.

    In management all is forgotten if you fail or succeed....all he needs is a decent opportunity and a bit of luck. Trying to take nondescript Swedish teams to places they are unaccustomed is a thankless task.

    I can, I watched Helsingborgs a few times play at home under Henk and they were woefully poor, I also seen him in interviews and he seemed monotonous and not much a motivator he didn't seem like a guy you would want to play for not to forget Helsingborgs are one of the bigger clubs in Sweden to get relegated with them is a bit of a embarrassment in all honesty as of now he is a failure who knows what the future holds.

    I've tried to search Google for managers who had a poor start to their careers but I can't seem to find any results no matter what search criteria I enter.

    Are there any stand out managers who were really poor to begin with before they found a way to be successful after experience?

    I think Larsson is still young enough to learn from his mistakes. He's a very intelligent guy and understands the game so there is hope.

    * gutted I missed him. Seen all his goals in competitive competition from dvds to youtube. Shame he got sacked but not all players can be good managers. He was also good not in hoops as well except when he was at Feyenoord. Scored 192 goals not in hoops. Was the main man in two European Finals and * the huns.

    Reading this makes me sit and think just how fortunate a lot of us were to see Henrik in action, I always feel proud and choked up whenever I think about him.

    He really was the best ever!:shamrock:

    Whilst at the time it was torture and unbearable, I'm glad I grew up through the huns 9iar, and equally glad I got to watch Henrik in the flesh every week.

    I'd hate to be a millennial or whatever they're called and modern football be my only experience of it all.

    My mates wee brother once asked us in the pub if he was as good as the videos make it seem.

    Almost had a heart attack that theirs fans at every home and away game that didn't get to witness him.
