Which he doesn't get any respect for because his name isn't Kristiano Boydo.

    Henrik Larsson's career by birthdays:
21st - Larsson had just signed for Helsingborgs when he celebrated turning 21.

And it was to be quite a year for the young Swede. Having made the move from part-time football at Hogaborgs BK, Larsson soon found his feet at the bigger club and scored 34 goals in his first season, helping them to promotion to the top tier in his homeland.

30th - Larsson was in his prime at Celtic when he turned 30.

And he was in fine goalscoring form to celebrate as he netted a penalty in the Stadio Del Alpi just two days before his birthday as Celtic went down 3-2 to Juventus in the Champions League.

Two days after his big day there was another goal - this time in a 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Parkhead. Celtic were eventually crowned champions that season and enjoyed some memorable Champions League matches - including a 4-3 win over Juventus at Parkhead. And yes, Larsson was on the scoresheet.

35th - Helsingborgs are playing a major role in Larsson's story and it was with the Swedish side that he celebrated turning 35 in 2006 having just enjoyed three years at Barcelona and played his part in the 2006 World Cup.

He won two La Liga titles and a Champions League with Barca but returned home to finish his playing career with one of his first clubs. Or so he thought.

After his eight goals in 15 matches helped Helsingborgs to a fourth place finish, Larsson again found himself moving to one of the biggest clubs on the planet - Manchester United. The loan deal might only have been for 10 weeks but Larsson still managed to make a name at Old Trafford with his three goals in 13 matches helping United to the Premier League title.

40th - By the time of the big four-oh Larsson had hung up his playing boots and was two years into his managerial career with Swedish club Landskrona BoIS.

Traditionally the main rivals of Helsinborgs, the move was an eye opener for many football fans in Sweden. At the time of his 40th Larsson's side were struggling in the Superettan - the second tier of Swedish football.

Tipped for the title the club were languishing closer to the relegation spots in the mid term of the camapign. A few timely signings turned their fortunes round though and they avoided relegation, finishing tenth.

45th - Larsson is again feeling the strain as a manager. He's been in the Helsinborgs hotseat for almost two years but a run of six straight defeats - the weekend 2-1 loss to Norrköping the latest - has seen pressure build on his position with his club sitting third from bottom.

Larsson has vowed to turn it round ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Sundsvall.

He said: "If you look at this period (the six game run of defeats), where we played good football against AIK away against Gefle and Kalmar FF at home, somewhere in there we showed that we are on the right path.

"It is difficult to sit here after six straight losses and say that but we are aware of the situation we are in and it's hard work that can take us out of this."
