Dempsey there is nothing positive about Balde!
For long enough I had to listen to fans that said Douglas was good, and Tam Boyd, in his latter years tae, he had the distinction of scoring more goals for the opposition than for Celtic.
My point is a lot of you people remember certain games etc about players doing well, snag is sports fans, consitancy, continuity, durability, etc are very important factors, so please cut out the bullshit, Balde is fukcing a liability and always will be.
There are lots of players that are like that throughout fitba, and appear to be no bad, look at a player thats at Everton right now, Ferguson, that guy on occasion can win a game, but ffs please dont tell me that he is an asset, in fact he is actually a nutcase!
Yes we have a good reliable players, Balde is NOT one of them!
And by the way watch for Boruc, not too bad a goalie, but I will be amazed if he plays for Poland in the World Cup?

Sticks to basics, go watch most games from tapes, on Balde clearing a ball for example head or foot, note the percentage of times the ball goes to the opposition thats basics!
I before I have mentioned another * poor distributer of a ball that actually made an England squad, * unbelievable, his name is Danny Mills, both also are very capable of blunders, now do you get my point.
Mediocrity and lack of skill are unacceptable, how can fans realize a poor defense, and yet turn a blind eye to a player that has continually blundered throughout his * Celtic player carrer?

 

You moved away from Scotland when you were 20 so you have been in North America for 47 years and yet you still type words like "fitba" something smells fishy about you son,as for Balde look at the goals Celtic have lost since he has been away,although he is not the best player at centre back i have seen he has a huge presence and was forgeing a good partnership with McManus. Also watching games via TV especialy in America(if that is where you are and i have my douts) and not in person you realy cannot hope to be able to see how a player performs in a whole game.
