Biggest game of our season already, i cant help but worry a bit here but i think we could sneak a 1 -0 here

 

I'd be inclined to drop Stokesy after that performance yesterday.

Pace will be required and as we seen in the first game they dont like players who run at them.

i think commons is playing great right now mate, in fact when he was taking out in the first game we definately sagged , im expecting a big game from him

 

Heard on SSN brown needs a Hip injection to be fit so easily slot wanyama in and were sorted

 

If Brown is out then the team should be:

Forster/Matthews, Rogne, Mulgrew, Izaguirre/Kayal, Wanyama, Ledley/Forrest, Commons/Samaras or Hooper. Put it this way, thankfully, there is no chance K.Wilson, Stokes or McCourt will start.

Feel crap saying so but with brown injured I think we are far better team

 

I dont.

I would say individually, Kayal, Ledley, Wanyama and Ki are all better than Brown but Brown is a leader, he has enthusiasm and he lifts the team. When Brown doesn't play the team never get our of first gear as although we have a few good captain material players like Mulgrew, Kayal and Ledley, none of them take the game by the scruff of the neck even half as good as Brown.

Brown loves winning and hates losing and will do what ever it takes, hes a driving force and lifts the tempo of games by setting example. We'll need him for Wednesday.

Just to add in too, the players know that too. In the Celtic View last season almost everyone interviewed said Brown would be their first name in the team sheet.

Someone, I think maybe Ledely also called him "Mr Celtic", mind he's our longest serving player too I think.

 

A good way to put it is that we should be a better team without Brown but I still doubt it altho all signs indicate otherwise.

Matthews refers to Brown as "Mr Celtic" and claims the Scotland international, who has returned to full fitness from an ankle injury, energises the side when he is playing.
