Now that was a strange game, can't believe how we (Helsingborg) can't manage to score a singel goal in this game. Although that has been our major problem this season as we sold our two top scorers last season. And then losing Finnbogasson a few days ago..

Anyway, was pretty impressed with Samara and how effective you were. Once you got your chance, BOOM 0-1, next one.. BOOM 0-2. This is the diffrence between us and why you most likely will be playing the CL and not us.

And also, guys we NEVER sang the billy boys.. however we do sing 'marching through georgia' allthough in swedish with our own lyrics, and it has NOTHING to do with either Celtic and Rangers. Come on wasn't it a bit too far fetched to think we'd sing tbb? Most of us do sympathize with you guys due to Henrik, remember your uefa cup final for instance.

However it still doesnt change the fact that atm you are our opponents, and we do wanna beat you and we will try to tease you, but it's nothing personal.

Best wishes in the league and I hope that those of you who came to Sweden had a pleasant stay.

    Welcome mate :50:

If your team could shoot worth a * mate, you'd be halfway to the CL, but fortunately for us, they couldn't. :icon_mrgreen:

Was a bit crazy the amount of chances Helsingborg * up, but Forster was on fire tonight. He never looked like letting anything past him.

Forster will go onto be better than Boruc :50:

Welcome mate :50: ... Was a scrappy enough game with good football played at times, both sides probably should have scored a couple. I must admit, although 2-0 is a bit flattering, I was impressed by Helsingborgs on the whole.

The billy boy's thing is a bit stupid tbh, I highly doubt a Swedish club would sing that against us, and a lot of clubs have their own version of the song using the same tune and don't really care/know about the background of the song.

Anyway, good luck for the rest of your season but here's hoping for another victory for the bhoy's in Glasgow next week :celt_2::shamrock:

    Good post my friend.

Hopefully all our supporters made friends tonight, the Celtic support are famous for their good nature and we do have Henke in Common with yourselves.

You will have a good time in Glasgow no problem.

As above, 2-0 really flattered us. However we did hit the woodwork twice also, so really it could have been 5-4 if both teams had their shooting boots on.

    It was a crazy game.

I'll tell you what though, this tie isn't over by a long shot, I seen enough from Helsingborgs tonight to know that with a bit more luck in front of goal then this tie is wide open.

Early goal from them and the nerves will be jangling.

Can't see us not scoring though, should be a good match again, can't wait.

Excellent result for us big Fraser saved us a few times in which was a terrible first half for us the big man was immense. We were much better in the second half the introduction of wee James Forrest for Kayal was a game changer he done great when he came on and we should have added another couple of goals but i will take the 2-0 excellent stuff:50:

Just finished watching a replay of the game, we did what we had to, but it's far from over. Forster, Samaras, and Commons are obviously the standouts. Thought we did alright in spells, but I think when we play at home it will be a completely different game.

Thinking about it the game could've been about 5 each lol. So happy to have walked away from this with a clean sheet and two away goals

I think the 1st half was the worst we have played in a long time. Every one looked really nervous. Was absolutely ecstatic to see us win 2-0 though. Just wish sammy had pas to commons for a 3rd goal

brilliant result, a bit flattering but that said we hit the bar twice!

fair to say our away hoodoo in europe is well and truly buried?

I have seen us play a lot better than that many times and lose so its nice when it goes the other way.Missed big Vic in front of the defence which seemed to make the backline very nervous.Played better in the second half and big Fraser was immense.

Aye, 2-0 flattered us but we did hit the bar twice and Samaras at the end either should have buried that chance or squared it to Commons who would have.

I can't see us not scoring against them at Celtic Park; one thing is we won't play as bad as that. We'll have big Wanyama back who was a massive, massive loss last night. His shielding of the defence has been a big plus in our turnaround in away European form.

very true, we missed Wanyama's presence big time.

anyone know why they were booing Samaras?

Hope Ledley & Kayal are ok, in saying that Mulgrew looked great in CM.

Great show by Forrest when he came on, he seems much more comfortable on the RW.

Forrest - legend...and to think after season 1 i wasnt a fan..he's improved immensly and is only going to get better.

Forrest done my nut in when he came on. He needs to learn to stat on his feet and to not just give up and stare the ref with his hands splayed when he believes he's been fouled.
