Aye, give an 18 year old a starting place in an away game in Europe, when you have a guy that has played and scored in that country on numerous occasions before.

We need our most experienced team in this game, if we are to succeed. It's going to be a huge test for us. Why take gambles?

Just what I was posting. I'm as uncertain about Bangura as many of our support, but I'll trust in his pedigree when it comes to facing Swedish opposition.

Bedoya just put Helsingborgs 1-0 up against Elfsborg.

Put the fear right in me when I seen that.

Tony Watt looked lively when he came on today, so if Stokes or Hooper do not make it I will not fret if young Tony takes the jersey, at least for Leg 1.

Crucial game, absolutely massive. I won't sleep properly till we play. I would like to think they are good enough to negotiate this in a similar way as the last round. I'm hopeful. We need injuries to clear up because the tie could be effectively over in Sweden if we score 1 or 2. I personally fancy a score draw, and then doing them over in Paradise. Perhaps we can nick a 2-1 out there.

I'm fairly confident Mjallby will be influencing Lennon when it comes to Bangura's inclusion should he be fit enough to play.

I never said he should start. If you look at my team I posted on the last page, neither Watt or Bangura were starting. However, Watt done the business in the first team at his first time of trying, whereas Bangura has tried and failed on several occasions in the last year.

And why does age have to come into it? 18 years old or 28 years old, if you have talent, then you have talent. He has shown that he is mature enough to handle playing within the first team.

They have won 3 of their last 4 since changing manager and are 1 up away to league leaders, As I said before this will be a very very tough tie, and after todays performance, I know we had a lot of players out, it looks increasingly difficult.

How much better is the Swedish league compared to the SPL though? It's okay saying that they have won three of their last four, but are the opposition any better than the likes of Hibs and Kilmarnock?

We only need a 1-1 draw away, but we should be looking to win. If we get the away goal, I'm fairly confident they won't score at Parkhead.

I said as much last night in the Ross County match thread, but Europe is a completely different deal. I don't believe he's ready...we'll see what the gaffer thinks.

    I was only joking mate.

I know fine well this will be a tough tie for us. I am not sure what to expect on Tuesday, but I just hope we don't buckle like we've been known to do away from home in Europe.

We need to make sure we don't give ourselves too much to do for the second leg, even a 2-1 defeat wouldn't be the worst result to bring back to Parkhead and we can finish them of there.

Obviously hope we can get a win in Sweden, but it's going to be tough for us.

watching Helsinborg now. Looks like Motherwell v Kilmarnock or something. No star quality on show.

What about Ross County? They will get a decent result against us in the league once every blue moon. They were lucky today, when you consider we were denied a penalty, hit the bar twice, etc. I've said all this in the match thread already. Can't be arsed repeating myself over and over.

Think we're very, very over confident here. People are judging the Helsinki game as a sign that our away day European bad run is over. Wouldn't be surprised if we lose 2/3-0 here.

They were denied a goal that was given as offside? We hit the bar twice, they hit it once? The game was quite even tbh, Ross County certainly matched us, and were the better team throughout periods of the game.
