    We maybe have players that can do that already, but it's a tactical decision to play that player out wide instead.

    I don't think we have. Commons comes closest, but that isn't his natural role. I know we tend to use our wingers as 'inside forwards' who bring the ball into the middle, but that's not what I mean. When guys like Forrest and Commons bring it in from the wider areas, they find themselves making ridiculous 30-yard chances at goal because of a lack of options through the middle. If they had a guy sitting in the hole who they could play little one-twos with/who could set up plays for them, we wouldn't end up wasting so many chances or being too predictable and overly direct. We'd be better able to dictate the pace of the play, and slow it down where appropriate.

    Watching SSN and they have him listed as 'IN' under Celtic, on that interactive board thing that they have. I didn't catch what they said about him though. Only caught the piece on Gershon.

    Get him and Melikson in on loan-to-buy deals. That (on top of the Gershon loan-to-buy) would be an excellent January window, imo.

    Aye no chance Wisla would accept a loan deal considering they've already accepted his transfer request. If he got injured/didn't play well while here they'd be left with a player that doesn't want to be there and they're not gonna get anywhere near what they could this window if he failed on a loan spell in the SPL.

    Should buy Melikson just now and get Barbosa on a pre contract. No point paying Barbosa's wages for 6 months when he's cup tied for Europe and the leagues pretty much over. Unless Braga were willing to let him go for next to nothing after we'd agreed a contract with him.

    Wish we would sign this guy. Type of player that would be very beneficial to the team.

    If we could sign Barbosa, Rogic/Melikson and possibly a forward plus Gershon then it would be a phenomenal transfer window.

    Would be unbelievable if it turned out like that but cannot see it. I hope there is still some interest from us in this guy. Portuguese international, contract running down, plays in a position we need to strengthen, decent age..get it done.

    Man, that's the kind of haul I would have been hoping for from the January and summer windows combined!

    For me, if we get a playmaker in, plus Gershon, that'd do for now. Would love to see a new left-winger, but can wait 'til summer. Same with a new forward.
