Whether we win the game or not who knows we did miss a pk at 0-0, but its hard to see how we would have lost that game but for the ref/var decisions which at best were an incredible level of incompetence if not outright bias/cheating aka "honest mistakes".

yeah poor performance like whole season. I think this is Rodgers punishment for walking out on us half way through season. We no luck this season at all. So many missed penalties and so many players injured. Important players.

I think they go hand in hand to be honest, up until our Penalty I thought we were playing well, then got spooked a bit after missing it. Yangs red card completely killed the game though.

Ultimately the pen miss, changes the game.

We score there and we win. Frustrating. It also wouldn't have led to the passage of play resulting in Yangs red.

Also btw for me our penalty wasn't a pen either. 3 big decisions in the game that the officials got wrong. For me I've always led more on the side of them just being completely incompetent. There's no consistency in decision making week in week out. It's the same with the Huns last night they blamed the ref but they had a pen and near 10 mins of injury time included in that game so it's often just used as an excuse for when either side loses.

VAR isn't being used correctly either. We'd be as well not having it as its causing more issue than solving. Their pen for example the rule book seemed to just go right out the window. If that's a pen nowadays we'd be as well all giving up and going home, how in the * can Iwata mean that and even still it's headed onto his arm by his teammate which is clearly stated as not being punishable.

Granted, before anyone jumps down my throat, today was bad. The decisions were poor and altered the game.

But ultimately again we've shot ourselves in the foot with stupid mistakes at key moments. I don't think we reacted well to going down to 10 either and that's not the fault of the officials or anything like that. That's on us. We almost accepted our fate. If you're good enough the ref won't matter, a famous man once said. Cliche but true. And we were far too passive even with 10.

We weren't great and looked a bit too passive following our penalty miss however, the disgraceful penalty awarded to the diets and the red card clearly affected the outcome of the game so, yes, I would say that it was the refs fault (and the cheating c*nt on VAR duty)

Let's just hope our club have a dossier and video evidence ready to take to the SFA to back up our managers accusations of Beaton's incompetence. This * can't go on or we'd be just as well chucking it altogether

We had 3 more shots than Hearts, and equal number of shots on target. Being a man down, we should have had a draw. Against Motherwell in the first half, we truly were *. Not yesterday. Referees ruined the game and Rodgers is in my eyes blameless. I am far from a fan of his.

I'd like to know what the referee seen that he then decided to change Yang's yellow to a red card.

The still image, at a different angle to make the foot look like it's making direct contact with the face, yet if the camera moved angle at that exact moment he's about a full foot away.

"a high foot makes contact with an opponent?

A direct free kick is awarded (or penalty kick if the offence takes place in the offender’s penalty area) and the player may be shown a red or yellow card."

This is the law on it. So why did he go from yellow to red.

Because he's a hun obviously. Thought that part was obvious after showing the same ref and same var team show goldson kick a guy in the head, injuring him badly in the box while also scoring and allowing it because they needed the points.

Grand old team to play for
Think of the penalties for Bernabei handball, O'Riley handball and now Iwata handball. Then think of all the ones Connor Goldson has gotten away with. Other player of theirs have gotten away with ones too.

There is bias in the decisions whether conscious or unconscious.

Easier to pretend they are pish than the truth. Fact is if your Scottish you'll have an unconscious bias to whatever team you grew up supporting. 99% of the country its us or them.
