    Considering Bitton has been playing CB for us for about 5 years now and I can't remember the last time he even filled in at CM.

    I think it’d be fair to say it’s not his best position though.

    Similar to Barca playing Mascherano at CB, he’d played there that long when he got to the World Cup Final with Argentina people had forgotten just how good a Defensive Midfielder he was.

    Obviously not comparing them as players, just that because he is playing there and can play there (even if quite shitely) doesn’t mean that he is utilised in his best position.

    Why the * are SKy so *?

    Showed an old Hearts-Celtic game, then give us only 30mins build up, where they obviously want to do some Ange throwback to pretend they know about the game around the world.
    Why not scrap the replay game and do a * hour build up to this game, so you can do this justice AND do a proper build up for the actual game?

    I think we can all agree though, Bitton is a * DM as well!


    When it comes down to it though, Bitton shouldn't be getting games at Celtic at this stage, he should have been sold 3 years ago. But the club is always so badly prepared that we go in to the early part of seasons playing him in CB, badly as we say.

    I thought he was quite good there tbh, just not suited to our style. Too lackadaisical.

    Think we can all agree he absolutely doesn’t deserve a place infront of Welsh. Him starting isn’t the club or boards fault, it’s Ange’s decision.
