    thats ur opinion bout him
if you look back at the games hes played in were we have played well as a team hes played ok, thats because hes got the support from the midfield and the desent delivery for him to run on to.
past few games wen he has started aye hes done nothin to make an inpact going forward in the game but thats due to lack of support in the midfield.

Zurawski rarelly scores goals ,he isnt a threat & for me he is the weakest starter every time he plays

I just think he's awfull ,a shadow of last season and shouldnt start .

A few goals in one particular game & a couple in another particular game means nothing when you see his overall contribution

I think GS has a soft spot or good friendship with him now cause zurawski's clearly a man who does'nt deserves to start , Its just not even debatable, he's been cack since the world cup and is cack now

Dont all jump on my points at once :84: Anybody in the street can see he is a shadow of last season , im just going with the majority :84:

We have one decent striker at the club, thats Jan da Man.

Do you think WGS wanted Stokes as more back up? He knows we need another striker because thre rest are not good enough.

We desperately need a proven, reliable, 20+ goals a season striker.

i think the world cup really dented his confidence. it's difficult to say but nakamura has a tough time with japan and he has been incredible this season so there cant really be an excuse. i know he scored at ibrox least season but he usually only scores against the lesser teams aka dunfermline. this might be the class of the polish league which he is used to.

One from beattie, riordan ,miller ,mcgeady or maloney

Zurawski is not the man for goals ,infact he's just not the man for * all for me

Getting bored seeing him lumber around doin jack * , If he was playing for rangers Id be Non impressed and bordering on the nacho novo level of shitness.

Look i know some people here think he's ever so magic but i dont know anyone who thinks he's a good player .

Just not good enough for me

:shamrock: infact im not the type atall to write off celtic players but with him i just cant understand why he plays

    Sno was a machine:84:

Beattie was the main man for both of the goals

A wee bit unfair on Zurawski today. No forward in the the world would have done anything with the service provided by our midfield in that first half. And that has been the problem for our all our forwards this season. We don't have anyone in double figures yet and there has to be a reason for that. The person who provided most of our attacking moves today was Naylor who I thought had an excellent game. We need to rethink our whole game plan and play more through the middle with balls to feet. At the moment everything comes from the wings and it's all a bit predictable.

I really hope WGS sticks with Beattie and JVOH upfront.

He will, but it's only a matter of time before they both get injured again. We need another striker in no matter what lads

Your having a laugh are you not. The first goal came when Sno lost the ball 50 yards further forward than he should have been. The boy was lost in the first half and it was only when he switched with Tommy G that we got anything from him. Lenny had his best ever game for Celtic today when he showed we just cannot do without him. Beattie had a good game but he is still struggling for fitness and has a long way to go.

lol. You dont mince words but you are dead right about Magic. He has lost his edge, a second or two of his reaction time has gone and he cant do it any more. I think that we got him a couple of seasons too late and squeesed his last good year out if him last season. Needs replaced next season.

Have always thought Beattie could be a top striker if he stays fit. He has all the attributes-strength, pace, height, eye for goals, good shot etc.

IF he stays fit, that is a big IF. He could be the answer but sometimes I think he lacks composure but that may come with experience.

I think we've have seen enough glimpses from Beattie for him to merit staying at the club. But I think, for most of us, as bench material - back up. If we could somehow offload Miller and make a move for someone of equal quality to big Jan we would be better equiped for Europe. But Beattie is prepared to take a man on and that, after goals, is the most exciting thing in football. It is also a surefire way to create chances. So let's hope he does stay injury free and he gives us that something different.

I also thought that some of Nakamura's passing today was sublime - and in terrible conditions. He gets the right weight on his passes brilliantly. I still think there's got to be a way to try Naka in central midfield.
