His foot tapped the ball towards the Hearts’ player who touched it therefore then had possession, albeit a ricochet, and then he chopped him down

    Penalty

I thought he was poor and I've had folk texting me saying the same. Lost the ball a fair bit and slowed us down so much. Battling tirelessly and keeping positive is the absolute minimum I'd expect from any of our players. I don't think he was outstanding by any stretch of the imagination.

Irrelevant now though. Won us the match with the pass at the end.

tbf we’ve gave a lot of teams a right doing but goiing to places in last 3 weeks like mcdiarmid pk, rugby park and tynecastle not playing particularly great but taking 9 points out of 9, is the sign of champions

follow through tackles especially sliding ones where the hit the player after touching the ball are normally given as fouls these days

Aye he’s not been to the level I thought he would be, especially last few games. Should be given a fair chance though

I know mate, I'm not disappointed with the players efforts of the results at all.

It's the direction of the club long-term that I'm concerned about. We're not in a terrible situation clearly, but every time we get into a strong position we fail to kick-on.

He’s not suggesting we play 2 lumps at the back as you put it, he is spot on and it’s ironic that in the interview straight after Lenny said we need to cut the messing about at the back and later said we need to get the ball forward quicker, I sense most folk who watch us week in week out would have been nodding away at that, the truth is that type of play really should have cost us a load more points than it has and only luck and some great goalkeeping has kept it that way.

We don’t need to blindly emulate Manchester City but by the same token that doesn’t mean we have to play like the Wimbledon of Vinnie Jones as the only alternative

He who laughs last laughs longest... :67:

For a guy with as bad an injury record as him he’s an absolute cretin, who purposely goes out of his way to try injure players..

    Got to love Karma :60:
