On the evidence so far he looks more than capable.

Thank *. As we all knew, pre-season wasn’t a mirage and he’s a good player.

Probs get flak for this but I think his style suits the winger better than tierney

Shame we don't still have Kyogo. Inamuara looks like he would have picked out his runs for fun.

Like him a lot......a clean striker of the ball and has his pass picked out before he receives the ball.

Thing I like about him too compared to what you see with other players… he passes the ball with confidence, intent and pace. That’s actually quite rare with the rest of our squad but you see at the highest level they all pass like that.

hes actually an incredible find whoever scouted him

Given Rodgers loves possession, you'd think Inamura and his passing would be something he'd be all over.

But such is ego/hubris, Inamura won't likely see the light of day now for a number of weeks unless there is a catastrophic injury crisis within the defence.

If Rodgers truly wants him to get better defensively, then * use him domestically against low skilled players who compensate by being hammer throwing * in the league.

Hes not going to get better defensively without playing competitive football and I dont trust the loan option to be one for a league at a decent level.

Against packed defences and teams sitting in he's perfect. Would have thought Rodgers would be loving a player like him. Got to be more to it.

Lawwell should have slipped Brighton £500k and told them to sign him and loan him to us for 2 year to trick Rodgers :56:

His wife must have told him how the new left back looks handsome or something.

He's good for 75% of the games domestically eh Brendan. That's 75% more than Adam.

You can tell Rodgers is at wi him in regards to the board. Shouldn't be * around wi a young guy who's moved halfway across the world and clearly has done well since hes been here.

    Just really petty.

    What is this based on?

He has been quite open on the past about players who completely changed his mind and took their chances when presented to them. Ryan Christie and Liam Scales being two prime examples who only got in the team due to injury crises but took their chances and he stuck with them.

If Inamura takes his chance he will get his opportunity too. He did himself no harm yesterday.

We will soon coach that out of him and program him to pass back to scales at all costs

Solid debut for Inamura yesterday and for me he looks like he should be good enough to be back up for Tierney at left back.
