In 1998 the day we won the league a hun came into Kellys and sang the Fields. It was something to do with a bet over who would win the league.

Alan McGregor was in the chapel halls in Croy last night. * knows how he didn't turn into flames at the gates. :39:

Sounds like Paddy Maguire's in Ultimo.

When I was there I went down to watch a game against the Orcs and there were a few Huns in there. No aggro at all, which was nice, though it says a lot about us when they chose to go there to watch the game, knowing they'd be surrounded by Tims. They could easily have went up to Cheers, where there would be a much more even spread of British & Irish football fans.

watched the scottish cup final in the Irish Rover in Las Americas Tenerife and out of all the Celtic tops etc was one hun sitting at the bar with a 90's hun top on.

Just sat quietly having a pint watching the game chatting away, although I think he was good mates with the owner of the bar.

There used to be a wee Celtic pub down here (England) that I used to go to all the time before it closed and it used to always be packed with Scots both tims and huns. The huns said they liked to come in and watch the fitba with other Scots. They were mainly old guys and seemed nice enough.

Watched a derby game back in March 2007 – the one where Ugo Echiouogogogogoog scored that overhead kick.

Was in a little pub in Donegal, I was amazed to find two Huns in the bar watching it.

In fairness they seemed like decent enough guys, I was raging we got beat, but I made a point of going up to the Huns at FT, shaking their hands and wishing them well.

Yes. We have a Rangers fan who is a regular of the Dumbarton Harp Celtic Supporters Club and he drinks in there because most of his mates are Celtic fans. He is a great guy and you can have some good banter with him.
Can get a wee bit tense when he walks in with his Rangers top on and we have just been pumped by the Gers right enough. :icon_mrgreen:

when i was working down in london a few years back, we used to drink in mc guires pub ( ilford ). this was the home of the ilford bhoys csc, and one old firm game we were sitting with 2 huns, one of which was a guy named rat, he knew everyone there so there was no problem, but his mate was * himself. and it was the game that rangers won 2-0, and it was the 1st result they had over us in the last 6-7 games. when the game was over, rat stood on the table, and to the whole pub shouted '' iv'e had to put up with yous * * for the last 2 years, so now it's my turn'' and then started to belt out the sash. his mate looked like he was about to have a stroke, everyone had a laugh, but that was london, and things are a bit more relaxed down there. couldn't see that happening up here. :56:

Strangest one I saw was this season, I was in Partick at the time of the Sion 2nd leg (the huns were playing Malmo at the same time) I went into a few pubs who seemed to be half and half and them showing the both games on different screens at the same time, Id never seen that before, I saw it in 3 different pubs before settling on one that looked predominantly tims!

when i used to live in bristol their was a CSC called the forresters arms. was always jam packed for old firm days, european games and even spl matches.

i went in one day for an old firm game and was amazed to see a solitary rangers supporter sitting quietly at the bar sipping away on his pint. i thought to myself "he's a brave boy, wouldnt want to be him if rangers win". der hun went on to win 3-0 but to be fair to the lad he didnt cheer for any of the goals and didnt seem to be rubbing it into anyone and he didnt get any kind of hassle from the celtic lads.

Never knowingly but I don't doubt there have been huns in Celtic boozers whilst I've been there.

great thread this. what i get from it, is the fact that huns are welcome into celtic pubs during celtic-hun games, and made welcome, ( well sort of, maybe more tolerated ha ha ) wonder if the same could be said the other way round

My Hun mate was in the CSC on London Road with us a few years ago but it was a birthday party. He's not a bitter Hun in the slightest though so he didn't give a *.

All the time tbh. Always see huns that I know in the Greenock Celtic.

Been in the hun club as well. My old man(Who hates football) used to always go there for a few games of snooker as the place was always dead, been there a few times with him.

I don't know if maybe the whole loyalist and bitter side of Rangers is maybe starting to fade a bit. None of my mates who are Rangers fans are bitter like that. It seems to be a lot of older guys who seem to have that nasty streak in them.

Alan McGregor was at a function in the Croy miners club on Saturday night.

Lee Martin used to drink in the Bourghs social club in Cumbernauld when he played for us.
