the best hit i ever had was in hospital and a jnr doc first injected me with an anti-sickness then the morphine, i felt like i was in a scene from trainspotting.
codeine does nothing for me now as i have been on it daily for over a year now.

Pure Heroin is stronger than Morphine. Another one from those crazy Germans. It was originally created by Bayer Pharmaceuticals in the early 20th century. The theory was all the benefits of Morphine without the addictive side. LOL, they were well wide of the mark with that one. The name comes from the German word for strong or powerful.

I met a lassie through another message board and I get high strength Morphine Sulphate capsules from her. The 100mg ones. Because they are a high strength they are slow release. You can't get instant release in pills stronger than 30mg. I pour the wee balls from the capsule into an envelope and crush them into a powder with a rolling pin.

The Yanks have created this new crush proof Morphine pill to stop abuse of the drug. I saw a video where they have one sitting on top of a cinder block and he takes a sledge hammer to it and it cracks the block but doesn't affect the pill at all. It seems to be water soluble but in water it turns into a horrible, gooey, sticky mess. * having that doing that in your stomach. People that need them now are suffering because they new crush proof ones take ages to start working now. Because a few people like them for a buzz the people that really need them suffer. I wonder how long before they make an appearance here.

In drug testing you can't test for Heroin, only opiates. Heroin, codeine and dihydrocodeine all metabolise into morphine so if your test shows up positive for opiates you can say you took a cocodamol. If you then stay off opiates for about a week you'll be clean of them. Most opiates have a really short half life so they are out your system in 5 or 6 days. Methadone is the only opiate type drug that takes ages to leave your system.

When I was working we believed that Tramadol was the oral equivalent of Pethidine. Pethidine is quicker acting than Morphine.

For those who are getting all warm and fuzzy thinking of these drugs..........too many leads to opiate bowel which isn't very nice. In addition the more that you have to use opiates the more you start to need as you begin to need higher doses to kill the pain. The body tends to build up a tolerance and they are also highly addictive. Dihydrocodeine is a semi synthetic opiate (DF118) and is similarly addictive. Trouble is when you need these drugs...if you're not careful you start up this cycle.

They should always be prescribed and their use monitored.

As I said above they're highly addictive and it wouldn't be easy for someone just to stop taking them. If you're in a sport there will be a list of banned drugs and Cocodamol will be one of them. Cocodamol is highly addictive.

I find it really terrifying that someone can buy MST 100mg on the internet.

The digestive tract contains receptors that opiates bind to and that's why they cause constipation. Immodium is an opiate. It's been formulated in a way so that it doesn't cross the blood/brain barrier so you can't get high from it. You can use Immodium to alleviate opiate withdrawal but you have to take quite a few of them. It's a good idea to ask your doctor for a mild laxative if you're going to be on an opiate medication for a while. I think it was Laxido my doctor gave me.

As far as I know you have to be in quite a bad way to get MSTs at a high dose. I sometimes wonder what she gets them for?

Had a bad injury to my hand a few years back.

To spare some of the gory details, I essentially ripped it right open and needed 55 stitches and two metal pins, was lucky not to lose a finger.

Had to wait a day or so before getting operated on so they had to kind of hold * together somehow and pumped me full of morphine. Was immense. Unreal.

Now Ive got a cool as * scar down my right hand too, so win win.

Yeah I know I used to be a nurse and I saw what Opiate addiction did to people. I didn't know that they used Immodium for those purposes but then you learn something every day. Yes this lady you get them from if they are actually prescribed for her must be in a bad way. What makes you think that they're prescribed for her? If she's so bad that she needs that high a dose how could she do without them ..........and she has to be able to if shes's selling them

If you like your Benzos I'd recommend them. Because they are a Lam they are quite strong. One 2mg Xanax knocked me right out. I was getting them 5 of the 2mg for £10.

She gets them monthly and she gets 400mg a day. Over time she's cut down so she only needs 100mg a day now.

*' 'ell, Oxycontin is stronger than Morphine. Not sure about Oxynorm though.

Oxynorm is a 24 hour release oxyvontin.

But docs don't like giving me strong painkillers anymore unless a last resort...... Apparently something to do with an "addictive" personality.
    Call bs on that though.haha
