He'd be better going to play in the mls ...thats if he gets an offer

Id guess his passion for football is totally outweighed with his passion for fashion now

Not sure about this one, but juventus are in for him and also portsmouth so he must have something still to offer. Lets hope if we do sign him it will be a good signing.

Does he maybe offer something to us in the aussie market for merchandise?

Robson has been inspirational his attitude has had a massive influence and he has been massive over the last 7 weeks of the season you are correct.

However I would like to see more of Robson at a higher level before making a proper judgement on him. I have a feeling he may be found wanting as he is so one sided and he is not the quickest. These components may prove him to be a little predictable at times when he has the ball at a higher level and A good oponent may find it easy to dominate him.

I agree we need a higher quality HM player for europe.

However we also need to see a better return of goals from our midfield players. Robson looks a threat for the SPL but I am not sure about his quality at a higher level.

BTW Hammer we are a little of topic.

Do you think Kewell would be a good signing?

    If Yes Why?

Lets give the guy a chance first eh? He looks to me as if he'd walk out against ANY opposition and believe he's better than them. Reading McLean's column only galvanised that opinion when he said he's have walked into even his cup winners cup side. High praise from a notoriously hard line manager indeed.

I Think hes too injury prone now and maybe could turn out like a bit of a Graveson, although he could prove us all wrong. Probably will be our only kind of our big name singing this summer as looks as if we are getting linked with all the crap as usual.

    pretty much spot on

Kewell got an interview on ozzie 60 mins a few weeks back, no other aussie footballer has been on there for a feature interview, gives u some indication of his stature, it won't necesarilly translate to increased jersey sales tho, the conversion rate means a 35 quid jersey is 70-80 ozzie bucks plus freight, u get AFL/NRL/A-League jerseys for $30 at the local sports store, SPL isn't broadcast on Fox Sports so seeing games isn't easy(setanta available to subscription tele only), I can't see there being a massive increase in shirt sales over here, nothing to compete with naka shirt sales in japan so the argument 'we'd get money back in shirt sales' doesn't run with me

nah... theres much more diversity than that over here

AC Milan/Juve/Roma/Azzuri jerseys everywhere in leichardt/norton st of course

Barca/Brazil/Real Madrid/Tim Cahill jerseys are very popular at any beach/park over here also

Can't see these folk buying HK shirts though
