    i remember when we were linked with enrico annonni thinking that maybe he'd be like franko baresi....purely cos he was an italian defender......when he signed i was ecstatic......then quickly realised we'd signed frank spencer....hahaha.
    also was fully expecting liam brady to march us to european glory.......hahahahahahahahaha.............oh well.

    Gravesen for me, mainly because I think we all at the time thought we were doing good business that season, Gravesen was joing by JVOH, Jiri Jarosik etc, and I thought we were building a really good side to have a wee go at the champs league. I suppose That season we had a good champos league run, but the exciting signings didnt really have much impact :87:

    I remember being happy when we signed Sutton. I don't usually feel much about a new signing until I see him play. But I do remember thinking that Donati would be a great signing.
