I once went to a beer festival that was all real ale and farm cider etc produced in small scale non-industrial brewerys. I drank halves or pints of about 12 different beers, stouts, lagers and ciders but I had no hangover. That is a miracle considering I often have 2 day hangovers (not a bad head or stomach-usually just the tiredness, shakes, clumsiness and confusion). Not sure if it was a fluke or is real ale the answer. Dont know but not many pubs do real ale so I would have to only drink in old man bars, mountaineering bars in the highlands etc.

A lot of people say if you eat something then take a strong a painkiller, zantac with a pint of water before you go unconcious it helps a lot. Its hard to remember or be arsed when you are steamin so I was told a good trick-balance a chair on your bed and sit a pint of water and the pills on the chair. You cant go to bed and forget. Another good one is make every third drink a soft drink or water. I hear Gin and Tonic or dry white wine doesnt give bad hangovers. I think vodka is lethal for hangovers though and have been told brandy is bad. I think guiness is a bad one too and I agree that mixing different drinks makes it far worse.

Went out yesterday and even though I didnt feel 100% before I did I woke up feeling ok. Good result in my eyes:84:

Hopefuly 2 litres of fresh orange juice and sitting in the back garden getting fresh air will help.
