We have progressed in Europe from the previous regime to this one, your argument falls down on this fact. Why couldn't Saint Martin qualify to the last 16 twice, is the standard of European football flailing as a whole?

I'll answer that one for you, it isn't.

Exactly pal but some people on here dont seem to see what the rest of us see, and that frankly is gordon strachan, his signings, his tactics same old *, week in week out, i would be happy winning titles playing bad but we are losing playing bad and its been going on for months infact we are lucky if we play 15 good decent games a season these days, but if things keep going the way there going we will lose the title, i cant wait till the day strachan walks!!!! go on some 1 highlight that :50: we can be doing much better than what we are and a change of manager can make this happen IMO:50:

Tamster you know very little about football. Your points are just a round about way at getting to WGS. Things are not perfect and McManus is bad, but we are not handing the SPL to them lot. We are the best team in Scotland and have the option to buy a couple of players. They lot need to sell one of their best and could only get back into a game with a dodgy penalty. I am far from happy with the teams form, but we have struggled over the Winter period for the last 3 seasons and always come out of it strong.

    i agree and disagree,

wgs has had luck in europe but everyone needs luck to progress, but wgs has hardly had the funding that martin was given, 12m for john hartson and chris sutton and then he had the likes of larsson in his team.

Wgs has be given a hard task to replace the team we once had and he is doing a good job. mcgeady brown boruc mcdonald

We are all fully aware we need a left back, Strachan included.

Mick is captain and has been for 3 in a row, I don't rate him neither do you but the difference between us is I can hold my hands up and say 'hey I might be wrong' you can't.

Naylor is a good left back. He is now the whipping boy and the groans of discontent from the stands have killed him. I know this because I sit and watch Celtic in amongst Celtic fans rather than just basing my opinion on a game every 3 weeks when it's on Setanta.

    Samaras is our top goalscorer.

Caddis is a young boy that folk, like yourself, believe to be far better than he is. I watch every single reserve game, he's a good player but as a defender he'll never make it Celtic, believe me.

O'Dea is another that is better in folks heads than he actually is. I like him, he's a good player but shouting for him to be played after every defeat is boring. He would have made no difference to the outcome.

Crosas is just back from injury, if you were to play him in front of Hartley after the way he's been playing the you're foolish.

I agree with you about Hutchinson, I however like yourself don't see him in training or see what his personality is like. He should be on the bench, his scoring record in the reserve league is brilliant and he's played well every time I've seen him. Who do you drop for him though?

We all know the only reason we got there was due to luck. Don't get me wrong i was a happy as the next man to get there but Donati's deflected goal is a prime example of our luck. Do you not remember "saint martin" getting us to seville??? Strachan with his skills and his current squad, which he has chosen and paid for wouldnt even make it in the UEFA. The way were playing we wouldnt even make it in The Championship.

at the end of the day 70% of our team are poor/average footballers. the defense espesh. mcgeady made the difference when he got the ball but not many players chose to give him the all today..
when our defenders get put under pressure they crumble, when our midfield run forward with the ball they dont no what to do(partly becase no one runs into space for them) our strikers dont take our chances i.e the 17 they had today.
panic panic panic thats celtics motto
when we played villareal in the last game of the CL this season we played brilliant, why, because there was no pressure

i keep being reminded that celtic is a business and were in the black, one of the only clubs around at the minute, but we seriously need new players, starting from the back. i dont mean now(our side is good enough to win spl this season imo), and panic buy for the last week or so of the transfer window.
BUT PLEASE TO * START SCOUTING FOR THE SUMMER
