    what having KCR told us that we do miss that type of player someone physical who can hold it up particularly in europe. This guy has had a good tournament, he's grabbed some goals, and held it up well, even taking the * out of 3 belgian defenders, one who we rated very highly in his time here.

    For a free transfer its an acceptable gamble.

    Whoever Brendan brings in will get my full support, too many fans just moan like *, i still cant belive that Griff is not universally loved ffs the guys scored 40 goals in a team that was slaughtered for most of last season from evvery avenue and yet he is still not good enough?

    His stats for his first two season are on a par with Larssons and he has even scored more goals in a quicker time period. He takes goals he makes goals and is in position to score 100 goals for this club within the next season.

    The guy has simply been phenomenal in his goal scoring exploits and his behaviour on and off the park has been exemplary lately. Still this is not enough, i feel that he could score 60 a season and some would still look for an excuse to give him pelters

    Apparently Leicester are having a look at him now aswell.
    Alot of interest in him because of the Euro's of course BUT I think if we really wanted him then we'd have a good as chance as anyone due to him being a freebie.

    All comes down to if he's looking at the money or a few trophies.
