Stan overall has been a verygood player for Celtic, but legend canny see it, often during seasons he went AWOL in games, yet underpaid I feel at the beginning, he has been playing well these passed couple of seasons, and works very hard, which is important, to me he never had enough peripheral vision, yet going forward no bad, never a great goal scorer, and never a great assist merchant, but certainly good enough for CL fitba, that in itself is of value, pity he is leaving however we have players at Celtic that can fill his criterion.

 

stan is the man.... martin is a legend.... enough said

Im not havin a go at o'neill or petrov in sayin this at all(like others hav) but i think if o'neill gets the newcastle job i think that wuld b stan's destination cause martin knows hes a good player

u cant take a horse 2 water but u cant make it drink.... if stans unhappy then there is no point in him wasting his talent at celtic, when he could show his full potential somewhere else, and tbh hed not shown that here consistency here for a while...

Every one behind petrov an let him no how proud and thankfully we r that hes spent 7 years in the hoops.

 

I totally agree that we should get behind every guy in the hoops on sunday, but let's not get carried away here. Petrov has been great for the club, but we've been good for him. Legend.....I don't think so.

O,Neil done a good job for us but is now gone and still taking 1/2 a million a season from the club and could now be taking one of our best players,remember Lennon and Leicester. Dejay Voo.

I am glad Lennon moved to Celtic but if Petrov joins O'Neil anywhere there are a llot of similarities.

petrov has gave celtic 7 brilliant years , anybody with half a brain would respect the mans wishes, he does not owe this club * all whatsoever he has given more than 100%, he only signed long term so that celtic would cash in on him, so i say that celtic should and go and get paul hartley who would jump at the chance to join us. THERE,S ONLY ONE STAN PETROV

 

ive posted in anutha thread aswel but stan petrov is ma fave player and is key player 4 celtic. ive woched the conference 2 tymes and burst in2 tears both tymes. be sadly missed but hope he develops even more and does well 4 anutha big club thers only 1 STAN PETROV 1STAN PETROV!!!!!!

IMO - Stan's a good player, shame we will lose him but he is worthless if h dont want to be here. Its one player he will be missed but quickly replaced.

 

celtic are not dead just because petrov wants to leave...remember henrik left we thot that was the end.......WHO IS THE SCOTTISH CHAMPS... we will always lose good and great players.....G.B.T.P...
