    Nowt funny about it.

I don't want to speak for Oisin so I'll speak for me. I do make outlandish statements about Efe but it's just to counteract some of the bullshit that people say about Efe. "Ambrose is the worst player I've ever seen play for Celtic". What a pile of horseshit. So I go opposite and say things that are stupid the other way.

Is that childish? Aye probably. I just like Efe and think he gets more * that he deserves. So I stick up for the guy. He's not the greatest player and he has some epic brain farts but he has also been part of some of Celtic's most famous victories. The * deserves a break. He's a better player than Janko. Fact. In my opinion anyway.

It's not about whether he is better than Janko or not. You brought him up only to say "imagine the * he'd be getting if he played like Janko". Ambrose has got nothing to do with it, and Janko is already getting pelters.

His name should not even be cropping up in this match thread considering he was too busy playing for the development team tonight against Killie.

    Well said. :50:

Quite a few under-performed tonight. But Janko scared me every time he was anywhere near the action.

He made Blackett look solid by comparison. Routinely gave the ball away or strolled into trouble and was bullied off the ball, and made no attempt to win it back. And that goal !

I like Efe, he never hides. His confidence is low and our fans booing and groaning hasn't helped him. maybe he needs time away on loan.

Hes a big hearted guy who loves Celtic and he really tries. We need blokes like that in the squad.

He has become a useful whipping boy when plenty of others escape criticism.

    Rubbish.

    Utter, utter rubbish.

We don't need bombscares and poor footballers. He isn't a whipping boy either, if anyone is a whipping boy it is now Janko after one horrific game.

Ambrose has had countless chances and not taken them. He should not even be coming into this argument but the fact people are bringing him into it shows how bad he has been for us in the past few years.

Having blokes that love the club, of course. But they have to actually be good. He isn't a whipping boy. He gets slagged for making mistakes and he makes mistakes all the time.

    I'm scarred for life.

I'd have made it if it wasn't for the birds, booze and injury y'know.

Just watched the 2nd goal for the first time ( thanks Crow )....Gordon and Janko highlighted exactly what's wrong with both of their games....complete incompetence.....I have no faith in Janko whatsoever but what the * is going on with Gordon....he seems to be really scary in every game now.

Had they scored a 3rd and knocked us out (* forbid), surely we would have been the first side ever to score 5 goals in the 1st leg and go out?

Don't mind reflecting on things like that now we've qualified. :smiley-laughing002:

    * on Twitter can say what they like, i'll take the luck because we were due some.

It will have annoyed all the huns who'd be sat their hoping, wishing, dreaming we'd go out. Getting the pelters ready to be dished out.

Every chance they missed i just thought, "There's the luck we've been missing."

So i'll gladly take the luck rather than someone spin it out that being lucky is somehow a negative.

Luck is what just fired around £25million in the coffers and we'll no doubt need to get lucky again in the draw.

If we get a lucky draw, and we get lucky in the transfer market, then hopefully the luck can continue, but we'll need bigger players on the bigger pitches. I'm sure it's fairly obvious now, where the weaknesses are, and we've time to bring in some more luck.
