    Agreed..

To have bombed him out and no even tried to get him a loan in January is scandalous..

He has the talent in abundance, just needs regular game time elsewhere..

From golden boy nominee to water boy.

Bigger picture, other talented youngsters looking from outside arnt gonna even give us time of day when we approach them if this is how we handle them.

At the moment it's every bit as likely Holm ends up back in Norway, in next year or so trying to rebuild his career after wasting valuable years sitting in the Stand with us.

There's maybe a slight attitude thing with him but that's down to his insta post before and a bit of guesswork without having a clue..

I hope we sort a plan out for him as I believe he's a baller and will show it soon. We've seen it in cameos.....that assist was worldly for Oh late on against Dundee. His cameo at Ibrox..

Yeah he's shown it in flashes. Like a few others he's looked good coming off the bench but hasn't really took his chance when he had starts.

Cant really argue that based on what we've seen he's probably not ready to be a starter here and that's fair enough he's 20 years old and came from a midtable team in Norway but just having him wasting away in stands is a disgrace. Should have had a loan to spfl team in January.

It's why the position of a loan manager is a vital step forward for us in terms of player development, unfortunately we gave it Darren Odea

Aye the managers stuck Kelly ahead of him and Holm can't even get anywhere near the match day squads..

It's an actual disgrace he wasn't loaned out in January. I was calling for a top flight loan myself, he'd easily play for a Hibs or literally anyone in the top flight we wanted him out to..

Lecce are poised to renew their interest in Celtic defender Gustaf Lagerbielke.

The Serie A side were in for the Hoops outcast and were unable to do a deal, later claiming his Parkhead wages were too big for them to cover, even in a loan. The centre back has continued to be on the outside of Brendan Rodgers' squad looking in and could week move on this summer

He played the last four minutes of a win over St Johnstone in March but was otherwise a spectator during the second half of the season, and will likely want more first team football. Italian outlet Tutto Mercato is now reporting Lecce will launch another attempt to take the Swede to Italy. However Frosinone, recently relegated to Serie B, are set to rival them for his signature.

Lagerbielke was signed from new Aberdeen boss Jimmy Thelin's Elfsborg last summer as the Hoops looked to bolster their centre-back ranks with him and Maik Nawrocki. However, both rarely featured and the 24-year-old was further down the pecking order out of the two, making just nine appearances

Rodgers was ready to allow him to leave in January but then an injury to Cameron Carter-Vickers complicated things and he stayed put for the rest of the campaign. Lagerbielke was crowned Sweden's defender of the year before coming to Glasgow but he was unable to bring that form to Scotland with him

Hopefully we can get him out for a fee, no loan and start shifting guys that the manager doesn't want and suit our style or system at all..

Not that it means we should sign Lecce players.

But just a note, they think lagerbeilke wages are too high to pay.

Should tell folk something about the average wages in other leagues out with England.

We can offer players more if needed, than what they get playing mid table in Spain, Italy, france, Germany.

Think I'm probably in the minority here but I'd be quite happy to loan him out for a season, without a buy option. I just think that if he goes over there and performs well in Serie A, we could be looking at a club paying a decent chunk of change. Don't want to be in a situation like we were with Hendry, where Oostende triggered the buy option of £1m, after performing really well over there, only to sell him that same window for 4 times that.

I know we need to get the squad numbers down and we would rather have the money in the bank but if we allow Lecce a buy option of £3m, which is what we paid for him, he plays really well over there, he could end up at a bigger Italian club with far more money in the same window.

We all know he's not a bad defender, he just doesn't suit the way we play football, with the high line. Lecce aren't going to play a high line so he could really thrive over there. I can understand if it's an obligation to buy, where we are guaranteed the money regardless of his performances but I think it's unlikely we get that.

Wouldn't be against this. It's not like we need the money this very minute with what is in the bank. Really any way we can move him on and recoup as much as possible on him will do as can't ever see him making much of a contribution for us. Rodgers obviously doesn't rate him.

Still find it crazy that someone considered the best defender in Sweden at one point struggled so much to play well here.

He just doesn't suit a front foot, high line outfit..

Far too slow and isn't dominant enough at all..

Has zero future here. Would probably be ok in a defensive side with no much pressure..

Gustaf Lagerbielke has made no secret of his desire to play as he considers his Celtic future.

Brendan Rodgers swooped to bring the Swedish defender to Parkhead last summer in a £3million package from Elsfborg but he quickly fell down the pecking order. Liam Scales' emergence during an injury crisis and the return of key defender Cameron Carter-Vickers pushed the defender down the rankings with Maik Nawrocki and Stephen Welsh also on the books of the Scottish champions.

His debut campaign brought just ten appearances in all competitions which included a Old Firm derby run out against Rangers and a Champions League winning goal against Feyenoord on matchday six to end the Hoops' long wait for a victory on the big European stage. Back in January, the defender was all set for a switch to Italy with Lecce but the move was pulled at the last minute meaning he spent a further frustrating six months on the fringes

Speaking in his homeland to Fotbollskanalen, the 24-year-old has admitted he has interest in his services from Italy and other leagues but still dropped his biggest hint yet he will leave this summer

He said: "Yes, there are interested teams in Italy and also other leagues. Just like all other players, I want to play and make a difference. I am ready to do so if the opportunity arises. It is difficult to say anything before something is ready. I have a contract with Celtic, but it's no secret that I want to play.

On his first season at Celtic and playing abroad in a different league, he added: "Very instructive. I have developed a lot and become a better player. I have brought a lot with me. I'm looking forward to the future and I think I'll take a lot from Celtic to the next team I join."

Fair play at least he's wanting to move on and go and play unlike a few others that are happy to just sit around picking up a wage, wasting their careers.

Siegrest and Kobayashi come to mind
