It's not like he's just not getting game time, he's actually been told he's not rated and to find a new club.

He's done that, all of a sudden Celtic put a stop to it and say "your staying until we know how bad CCV's injury is"

He might not be the best, but he's being treated appallingly and I don't blame him for wanting out of this * show.

 

The worst bit of it all is McCarthy and lagerbielke aren’t up to it in rodgers eyes to play them….so why block the loan moves just “in case” we need them. Let them leave and worst case scenario if we have injuries…..play a youth player, otherwise what is the actual point of the youth academy

 

Lecce have told Celtic they want a decision on Gustaf Lagerbielke TODAY.

The Swede, 23, was on the verge of joining the Serie A side on loan but Celts put the brakes on the move due to a Cameron Carter-Vickers injury. Lagerbielke has barely featured under Brendan Rodgers since his £3million summer move from Elfsborg and Lecce have offered him a chance to relaunch his career in Italy.

We should have sigend McKenna and let this * go. But I don't blame him for going to Copenhagen, well run club, signed quality players without paying much and in the Champions League. Peter Martin on PLZ Soccer has been saying some things to the journos today who have been defending the board/club.

Basically asking if we are a big club with little ambition. Hard to argue with that statement, to be honest.

 

As much as we want rid of players like McCarthy, if the incoming team only wants to pay a tiny precentage of his wages to make it pretty much meaningless to us financially there's no point in us accepting just for the sake of it.
