That was in response to you constantly stating things, telling people to get things in their heads and generally just acting like the bastion of knowledge on here.

And as I stated back then, it was a coaching job (not at St Mirren, for the record).

Mate just because I know that movement and work rate aren't the same thing doesn't make me the bastion of knowledge, but I appreciate the compliment :celt_2:

By the way. Great goal, Griffiths is a good player. In my opinion Guidetti would be the better option against better defenders. That too much to take in in one go ?

Griffiths has been the better option against * defences, so I don't see how Guidetti would be the better option against good defenders.

Denayer is a completely different example than Guidetti.

First of all - Fair enough, centre half and striker are incomparable, but he is * lightyears ahead of Guidetti in terms of simply just being much better at football. City aren't renewing Guidetti's contract whereas they are clearly saying to Denayer that he has a place in the team next year (at Man City, fs). So him saying from the start that he's going back, isn't an issue for me. And unlike Guidetti, he doesn't say stupid things in the press (like how he's going to destroy the huns) or snapchatstagram his latest SnapBack. He doesn't care about any of that * or the fame. He's just all about the football. Such a model professional at 19 as well.

On the other hand, Guidetti isn't signing a deal and is trying to warm up other teams to sign him. Completely unprofessional. Whilst not even scoring against SPL opposition.

That's the difference between Denayer and Guidetti.

Yes , plain and simple. Nobody is "rubbishing " Griffiths . Folk have just said they want Guidetti to start against Inter because he will retain possession better for us , which is a pretty fair assesment . That is it , what is all this "Guidetti fanboys " nonsense? The only one on here that is taking anything other than football into consideration is you , you clearly have a personal problem with Guidetti. Nobody has a problem with griffiths , and nobody is "belittling " him . And as for the " get it up yous " when Griffiths scores ? You must be about fourteen pal? if Celtic score , no matter who it is i will be bouncing about like a mad *, not worrying about what some space cadet on talkceltic is gunna say .

Because Griffiths wont be able to run in behind a better organised defence. The ball will be coming into feet, back to goal, and Guidetti will be the better option in this circumstance .

    Lol that was me.

And I stand by that comment.

Essentially I just think that people overrate him far far too much.

Ok. Virgil Van Dijk will have to deal with better , faster strikers tomorrow , with better movement .

Does that need a crystal ball ? no . It is a pretty fair assumption , as was my previous one about Guidetti holding the ball up.

Many goals has Guidetti scored in 2015 btw?

Bearing in mind we're almost at March.

You think that is the only thing to consider when choosing a lone striker to play against Inter Milan ?

Griffiths. He is the best striker at the club. No brainer.

So how do you know Griffiths won't be able to get in behind them?

I'm pretty sure people said the same about the Zombies because they'd play 10 men behind the ball, and Griffiths tore them to shreds.
