    Full international at 21, while keeping Boruc and other EPL polish keepers out. Don't even see the point in any "trial". Sign him up. £1million could easily turn into £5-6 in the future.

    Neil Lennon has confirmed he has an interest in signing Polish goalkeeper Grzegorz Sandomierski.

    Celtic are in the market for a new number one, with last campaign’s number one Fraser Forster returning to Newcastle United at the end of last season at the end of a loan spell.

    Lennon is keen to bring in a new keeper to feature ahead of Lukasz Zaluska and Dominic Cervi and, speaking briefly to the Evening Times, admitted: “There is interest in him, yes.”

    Celtic registered an interest in Sandomierski two weeks ago, with his club Jagiellonia Bialystok confirming their player could go to Scotland on trial, but only if a possible transfer fee was agreed in advance.

    The 21-year-old had trials with Everton earlier this year but, with Lennon eager to recruit a new goalkeeper as soon as possible, the Hoops could move to try and take the three-times capped player immediately.

    Sandomierski made his club debut in 2007 on loan at Lech II Poznan, before returning in the same year to establish himself as Jagiellonia’s first choice.

    A further loan spell at Second League side Ruch Wysokie Mazowieckie followed in 2009, before the Under-21 international made the breakthrough into the Poland national team.

    Sounds like a bit of a gamble though a 21 year old keeper from an average polish team. Best to watch him a couple of times to see if he is the real deal or just hype as hes young.
