We should cut our losses and let it be known among agents that he is available at a cut price. Monty will do as a back up to new man, some game time against dross.

 

Gona put myself out ther and say he hasnt been a dud. Bolingoli and Laxalt have been duds. Taylor may be a fairly limited defender, but in comparison to the latter, he has been relatively dependable.

 

Backup at best. Full back and wing has been our biggest weakness this season in an attacking sense. We need much better than greg taylor and jonjoe kenny.

 

I agree to an extent in that I wouldn't consider LB to be the top of the priority list in the summer rebuild. We're going to need so many players that I could live with Taylor at LB next season if we've managed to address 6-7 other positions.

 

Yeah i totally agree with the notion that we should be looking to strengthen in left back. Josh Doig would be the signing for me. We are mad if we are not in for him.

Isn't even a good enough backup. Montgomery came on and skinned his man and put an incisive pass in to Griffiths i think it was..

More than anything I saw Taylor do. Taylor in acres of space and hitting the first man as usual. Woeful player..

 

Bolingoli is better than Taylor. He isn't good enough either, but he is better in my opinion.

 

If you want a slow, weak full back who can't beat a man and is bullied in every 50/50 then Taylor is your man. Seems a decent sort but the truth is we need better. Problem is, with other positions well under manned I don't think we'll strengthen LB next season and if that is the case I would rather see Montgomery play ahead of him.

 

Always said Taylor is a good left back, never in a million year is he a left wing back. The two roles are completely different. As a left back you depend on wingers to attack, as a wing back you are the winger. He doesn’t possess either enough speed or skill to be a winger, but he’s a decent enough defensively.

This year our formation and squad has been pathetic, with some of the worst attacking and forward supply in years.

I like the guy don’t get me wrong but wouldn’t shed a tear if he was moved on.

 

Can debate who is the better Taylor, Kenny, Laxalt or Bolingoli but the bottom line is they are all pish.
