Decent game today but the fact is hes played out of position. Hes never a wing back and I doubt he was signed for that either

 

Think he was good today. Tracks back well and wins the ball back a bit. Think he will actually do very well against the huns cauee might be in a more defensive role for it

 

Credit where it’s due, he did well today in nullifying Boyle.

 

Thought after an initial poor start, he did well in the end.

 

Done very well today, he does lack pace but his energy is brilliant, looked * at 60mins yet was still bombing up and down the line. Showed his defensive side as well by keeping Boyle quiet, never gave him a sniff.

Obviously has a very strong mentality, came under so much criticism but never folded, just worked harder, full credit to the wee man.

 

He takes a lot of flak, myself included, but he done well today. Effort can never be questioned.

 

Made a really important block near the end, hope he can kick on now and work on the attacking side of his game.

 

He played well today, kept Boyle pushed back and subdued which most teams struggle to do, and also put a couple of decent balls in going forward.

 

Aye did well.

Althoigh Taylor/Ajer combo in defence gives me the fear.

 

Hands up , credit where its due , was a lot better today .

 

Played well today boyle wasnt in the game today which was down to him . He is a good left back thats why we bought him now told to play lwb which he is not suited to definitely need a Lwb if we are playing 3 5 2

 

Best game for a while today showed good defensive instincts to cover across and make vital challenges.

Never stopped running although it is still clear his lack of pace doesn’t give us the outlet we need down the left, however with McGregor being more offensive inside left it didn’t leave us as one sided in attack today.

 

Much better today for what was a decent performance. I think that's the best we can hope for with him especially as a LWB. Never going to catch the eye like Frimpong on the other flank but if he's steady and doesn't cost us, that'll do for now. Still need better going forward.

 

Though CM helped matters, getting across a lot more, CM. Didn't seem. To be that deep like previous. Thought him. And Christie complimented both wbs.

 

Also thought he did well...only saw the second half...but very good.

 

Played well and feel he is better coming inside to beat his man , done it a few times today and the space opened up for us ,well done gt .

 

Aye he was far better today against a more attacking side. It's games against teams camped in their own half that we need someone with a bit more going forward.
