I like him, but just wish I liked him more. He works hard, gets involved but I feel like there's something extra missing from him. Also has a bad case of one footedness like KT

 

I don't disagree, either way we should have had another LB to challenge for that spot since January.

 

He stood at the back post and the ball bounced off him...

 

I think it's one of those, because we are all waiting on him taking a man on, the more it DOESN'T happen, the more obvious it becomes.

I'd be interested in some stats in terms of his touches and direction.

90 touches. 95% backwards

He seriously can't beat a man to save his self. Even gets a nose bleed when someone is facing him up 10 yards away and you know he'll lose it..

He's a tidy player and can put in a good cross. But really there's not much more to his game, at least attacking wise.

I suppose we were spoiled with Tierney, and it's unlikely we'll get another left back as good as he was for a while. But when you see what Frimpong and Elhamed are doing down the right, it just makes Taylor stand out even more, and not for the right reasons.

Think he'd be a great squad player and back up, but no more.

 

Hes an spl level defender, we need better.

 

Too many crosses smacking off defenders for me. Barely finds a team-mate and just seems to rattle it as opposed to directing his crosses. Need a new first-choice.

 

Just doesnt have that wee bit of quality needed to be a top player here.

 

He has proved he is not out of his depth at Celtic and I like his attitude. However another LB will be brought in after Mr Mbombo's misdemeanours, we will see who is first choice LB come the end of the season.

 

We should try Jerry on the left, especially with ElHam looking decent on the right.

Can’t believe he’s being slated by some after us winning 6-0, him scoring a goal and getting an assist haha he’s a left back. What more do you want from a game?? Watching Tierney has really clouded people’s judgements on Taylor. We sold KT for £25 mil and replaced him with a £2.5 mil player. Think Taylor is playing above his transfer worth right now.

 

I like him, he's going to be an excellent reliable squad player. A 100% er..

But, its an area we need to strengthen. Maybe with a natural LWB.

 

Aye, I'm not sure what people are expecting, I think he's been a very worthwhile signing so far. Reading back through the posts on here there's a lot of negative stuff about him, and I can't think of much he's done wrong when he's played to be honest. His crosses could do with a little improvement, but aside from that I think he's done very well.

 

He'll be a good player if he improves his crossing from deep.
