He doesn't come into the midfield by himself, he has been told to do that and does it expertly under Ange and now BR..

I'd be happy if he moved on too but there's some amount of pish posted about him..

He's been excellent domestically.. we just need better in Europe if we want to progress.. but his attitude and winning mentality can't be argued against.

No, he gets away with it domestically. That’s different. His attitude can be good, but is just as often honking.

 

If it’s so mental, then go on and tell us what’s so likeable about him…

 

For me he always gives 100%, has a winning mentality and have never seen him adopt a bad attitude.. he does like a moan as he's a winner but he never hides..

Like I say, I'm happy for him to move on but it will be with thanks and gratitude..

 

100% effort is the minimum requirement. Shifting the blame to others is not what winners and leaders do. He’ll leave with my basic gratitude for his work rate; he’s not an utter diddy (that’s what makes his shortcomings worse). I won’t be thanking him for the plentiful mistakes leading to goals, the gaping chasm on the left side of defence, or acting the prima donna when he’s found out. Will be glad of an upgrade, in every sense, come summer.

 

What's so dislikeable about him? Young guy who's been with his school sweetheart for his whole * life, his wife still working as a nurse. Always tries to take part in the Celtic media, gives 100% for the club and always has time for the fans.

No idea why you or anyone dislikes him so much. You can think he's a poor player and we can debate that all night long but seen absolutely nothing to suggest why anyone would dislike him as a person.

Proper weird behaviour.

 

Not everyone puts in 100% effort every game he does..

Never seen him act like a prima dona..

I will be glad of an upgrade though, but you're definitely being overly harsh, which Taylor has had throughout his Celtic career by a lot of our support.

I’ve already given plenty detail about why I find him dislikeable. I’m not going over old ground. You’re big enough to go back and read it for yourself. I’m not wasting my time with your nonsense.

 

Believe it or not, I don’t follow all your posts and there’s what? 359 pages on this so I’m not going to scout through it looking for individual reasons as to why you dislike him.

The “Hallmark garbage”… we are talking about him as a man. You dislike him and I’m giving you reasons as to why he’s likeable. Bet you love big Boruc and all the mad * he did behind his wife’s back. Leaving his wife and bairn to hook up with someone else.

You don’t like him as a player and you’ve decided you don’t like him as a person because you can’t separate the two. You’re an idiot.

 

He’s not dislikable or a “dobber”.

He’s put in 100% for the club for years now and has been a great servant. He’s not at the level we need, but there’s nothing not to like about him. He’d be welcome back to the stadium any time, quite rightly.

 

Ok, so putting in the required work rate and not having acted badly enough to be unwelcome at the stadium - that’s the standard now?

If you can’t handle someone disagreeing on a guy being likeable, without calling said person ‘unhinged’, it’s you that has the problem. He acts a spoiled child on the pitch almost every time that something goes wrong. If you love that, well that’s up to you.

 

Think his point is that he's a down to earth bloke , humble and feet on the ground , with an old fashioned lifestyle not some wide boy. Wants more money , they all do , good luck to him . I think he's very likeable off the pitch in interviews and Celtic TV media. You're entitled to your opinion but it's one I would imagine very few if any will agree with .

He's not acted remotely badly in any way ....he works hard , gets on with his team mates and is a popular member of the squad.
He will be welcome at the stadium long after he leaves .
