I'd be happy if he signed and was happy to play back up. I'd expect he would get a lot more gametime than Ralston - if we get into champions league groups I think 20 games a season wouldn't be unreasonable to expect.

Realistically he isn't getting the biggest games if KT is fit, however realistically KT isn't going to be fit for all the big games!

I'd imagine whoever is back up to KT to play a lot. I think he will be fairly well protected. In fact I'd expect the back up to come on most games they didn't start.

    Completely agree.

Whoever is number two left back after the summer window is going to have to be decent as they'll be called on a lot.

They'd probably need to be of Taylor's quality.

Shame that Taylor is threatened with Tierney's arrival and is now looking to move on. He'd have been a perfect deputy, but it is a demotion. He's been lucky we haven't scouted properly in that area for years.

As things stand, LB is something that the club does have options at in terms of back up, with Anderson and Frame both there - both of which have been vrafting pretty good reps so far and are 20 and 18 respectively, and not to forget Montgomery also, who admittedly has had his injury concerns of his own, but he is also only 22 himself, and the club haven't written him off or released him etc for a reason.

Certainly, none of which are ready to be considered as first choice, and not saying that the club could look to strengthen in that position as a back up to KT, but there are a few options there with another year of football under their belt, so will be curious to see what the club and BR are thinking in terms of a secondary LB for next season.

If Schlupp does well, we'll maybe look to extend his stay..

Get Anderson a loan in Scotland in the top division and send Frame to Austria in his place.

Steady player but in all honesty, happy for him to move on. Steady, but to many times he has looked the weak link. Tierney is undoubtedly an upgrade, just need another decent lb too, maybe schlupp, maybe not - who knows
