Played well up until the mistake for their first. Did well to recover.

Very lucky Carter-Vickers saved his bacon..

He needs phasing out now, seriously.

Cost us a goal and very nearly a second if it wasn't for CCV bailing him out. They really should've went 2-0 and that would have been that you feel.

The amount of mistakes he makes is criminal, they just often go unpunished.

Either looses the ball or passes it back, the amount of times he just rolled it back to the centre backs when a forward pass was on is criminal. Valle is far superior.

I back him more than most but the writing is on the wall for him after that today. Doesn’t seem to be anywhere nearer signing a new deal either. There’s a place for him in the squad this season and he’ll still be an important part but we need to be playing Valle now with the view to either convincing him to sign permanently, or if that’s not a realistic option make sure we identify the right player to come in for next season.

Absolutely terrible today and was incredibly fortunate his * up in the second half wasn’t far more costly.

I was just about writing him off, and then he scores the goal.
He is a complete enigma, love/hate relationship if ever there was one.
We do need another left back, but we don't know if Valle is staying or not, we are in a pickle
here, and good left backs are very hard to find.

I was delighted for him when he scored as you could see the relief on his face. Clearly means the world to him, but he shouldn't be our first choice. We need a quality left back in January.

I'd be happy if he signed a contact and was happy to fulfil the Ralston role. He's good enough for a lot of games in the legaue but he's clearly the weak link in our team in bigger games.

His fresh air kick and collapse that lead to that 4 vs 1 was every bit as bad as his mistake that was punished. He's lucky they made an * of it. He's abysmal when pressed .

We really need an upgrade on this guy, he is a tryer but simply not good enough.

We're actually quite lucky his second *-up didn't put us 2-0 down.

Not sure we'd have come back from that.

Two major mistakes causing a goal and a 4v1 to make it 2-0.
Valle still not there either but he's still learning.
    LB position remains an issue.

It’s criminal the length of time we have persisted with Taylor, knowing his weaknesses when it comes to actually playing the position of LB. He’s effective At linking play in an attacking sense and I’m pleased that he got a crucial goal today but if you can’t do the primary job that you’re paid for it really is immaterial.
I’m all for Taylor being cover because I’d rely on him to an extent but this guy should never be our first choice.

Why we haven't sorted the LB position to this day is unbelievable. Everyone and their granny knows GT isn't good enough and he could have quite easily cost us the game today. I also don't the Valle is the answer. Hopefully we do something in January and hopefully it's not another stop gap

Very nearly cost us the cup.

Was an easy pass on out wide but his constant obsession with trying to pass sideways or backwards put us in trouble and only great defending from CCV and Hun stupidity saved his *.

    Needs dropped

End of my tether with Taylor. Honestly, he is constantly needlessly giving the ball away. Given we are so dominant domestically, he tends to get away from it unpunished in the main and it doesn't get highlighted as much.

In Europe and in the bigger games domestically, it is noticed and it sometimes costs us.

Think valle has mistakes in him to but he is a much better lb in my mind. He gives so much more going forward and does just as good, if not better defensively.

It looks likely this will be Taylor last season with no contract signed as of yet and quite honestly will feel relieved if it is time up. He has had some good moments but overall I find him really frustrating and a glaring weak spot in our starting 11
