GT: “It’s been a few weeks since we last played, we’re all looking forward to it tomorrow. We’ve had a good couple of weeks training and we are raring to go.

GT: “Dubai was a good week’s work, like a mini pre-season. It was a good chance to impress and hopefully I can build on that over the next few months.

It’s tough but we’re a big club and there’s competition all over the pitch so it’s about doing enough to try and stay in the team and that’s my aim for the rest of the season.”

You have to be patient at a massive club and I understand that. Every footballer wants to play games and I’m no different. As long as I impress in training and do it on the pitch then that’s all that matters.”

GT: There’s different roles when you come to a team that dominate the ball more and gradually I’ve been able to grasp that. It was important to imp

GT: I think they’ll be well-drilled, stubborn. The onus is on us to put on a performance as it’s the first game after the break.”

Tries a lot but even though Boli gets slated....he's miles better than Taylor I think..

Really lacks pace for the role..

I feel for him as that was 100% effort tonight he didn't shy away but he's weak...far too slow...positinally he's miles off it and doesn't have the quality when he's in the final third..

Slows down once he gets there..

Boli would've stretched the life outta them tonight..

Actually think the diamond shape suites Bolingoli more..

Thought he was tidy enough tho in a shape that was new for everyone

Needs a run of games, but early impressions aren’t great.

Real lack of pace which hinders him going forward. Not overly keen on either left back, thus far.

Thought he was really poor. Doesn't seem to have the pace to get by a man , and his crossing was off aswell.

I thought he was poor and this is against partick thistle, plenty of honest endeavour but lacking in ability, also don't think Boli is the answer either tbh.

I don't think Calmac is quite the same player of late. I think we Taylor is promising he just needs a wee bit more time.

Once he gets rid of the " jeeze I better pass it to one of the big names " and plays his own part of the team , I think he will do fine .

Not quite at it tonight same for most of them , still scored though ,but a bit frustrating to see us making lots of predictable short passes and not taking players on .

He combined well with Forrest in previous games playing 1 - 2s etc. I think he needs a winger to play with as he's not good at beating a man on his own.

Looks far too lightweight for me, bolingoli has a lot more to offer although he’s still got a bit of developing with his positioning at times

Give the boy time. Boli had his run in the team and it benefited him before him injury. Taylor deserves the same chance and then we can decide who’s 1st choice from there.

At the end of the day, I appreciate it’s a modern game and full backs are expected to contribute going forward, but it’s our strikers and attacking midfielders who need to up their game.
