Its a fair point mate, id like to see some of the youths being given the opertunity. As you said their only filling in for the likes of injuries and i think it would be more to our advantage if the youth were getting the experience.

Didn’t say he was the problem but deffo contributed to the problem by being *. Made * all runs, was too slow n late to do them anyway, ball retention was * he lost it loads, slowed play too much with taking too many touches, didn’t defend. Made himself available yeah but only to slow down the play or play a * pass. Could be an anti Taylor bandwagon starting back up again cause he’s showing no signs of being good enough again. I gave him his credit last season but I can also call a spade a spade when he’s not been good enough…. Or *

We have to much of a soft spot for the locals lads and can’t see past them and we’re their mates. If Taylor was a different nationality he would’ve been bombed by now.

Same with guys like Forrest and McCarthy giving long term contracts on decent money with us having no intention to play them because they are one of the boys. If Brown didn’t leave himself he’d still probably be playing here ffs even though he was well past it in his last couple of seasons. Guys like Turnbull and Ralston probably will be given contracts again too.

I know we have a home grown / club grown quota but it’s about time we moved on from some of these guys. Guys like Max Johnson should’ve been looked at as back up RB and Summers and Vata could’ve been promoted taking the place of guys like Forrest.

Part of it is sentimentality but part of it is necessity. You need a certain number of home-grown players for the CL and even on the bench Forrest ticks that box. It cuts both ways too, as a lad like Vata would not be getting anywhere near our team if he wasn't homegrown and the son of a former player.

You've got to think about it in terms of club culture as well. You need some local lads in the team otherwise it loses its identity. You need players on the pitch that know what the OF game is about and you need lads that supporters can relate to.

The problem we have in part is that we've not prioritised going for the best available Scottish players, and Ange was probably guilty of letting a few slip through our net. Ultimately, you're going to be stuck with guys like Forrest, Taylor and Turnbull unless you go after the best Scottish players available.

Would absolutely love for the guy to prove us all wrong, he's done it before.

Tomorrow would be a great day for him to have a return to form. But there is no question his form has taken a significant downward drop so far this season.

That is one of the worst first half displays I've ever seen from a professional footballer. Misplaced passes, headers straight to huns, thrown ins where he would as well handing the ball to a hun player and absolutely rinsed defensively.

    Shocking.

He's meant to be a senior member of that team today and he's the worst on the park. We can't change him so he needs to get his head sorted and just do the simple things right. I.e defending well and stop giving the ball away in our half

I actually feel sorry for him. He's so out of his depth this season.

Can't believe I'm saying this but I'd rather go with Bernabei now.

Negligence not improving on him. The most senior pro in that back 4 and he was the worst by a country mile.

Aye he was abysmal again, that's 5 games he's had and his best bit of play was winning a penalty on the opening day.

Either Rodgers needs to go 3ATB when our CB'S are fit, or give a youth player a chance.

Scales is a decent LB when we tried him. Get him training.
