Same reason Ange played Ralston injured/ill a few games back, he thought today's game was important enough to risk him and the alternatives he saw as weakening the team.

Not saying that's the right thing to do but Ange does seem to like to roll the dice in these sorts of situations. He possibly takes too many risks with players who are willing to make themselves available when others wouldn't.

We'd have won it had he not got forced to come off.
Jura was an utter disaster + Maeda couldn't get much involved attacking wise on the left flank.
Hope the injury isn't that serious.

Changed the game completely when he came off. Shows how vital he is to our game both going forward and defensively.

Agree with this. He was genuinely injured and that fat piece of * was abusing him. Guaranteed that Broony would have steamed right in there.
Would like to see a bit more of this from Calmac sometimes.

Sounds petty but Mcgregor high five'ing Tavenier in the Tunnel before the game and kyogo rubbing hun players legs is irritating too.
Although we are a lot better than years gone by we are still too nice as a team.

Weird thing is Bernabei's strength is what we lacked when Taylor went off. Thay boy Sakala had beating of Juranovic and Juranovic was scared of his pace. That wouldn't have been an issue for Bernabei.

Bernabei been here a little while now so worrying he wasn't trusted to play.

Him going off was the turning point in the game, the Huns got a foothold after that.

I image we will see Bernabi start on Saturday and it will be a big opportunity for him especially if Taylor is going to be out for a while.

His turnaround in form since Ange has been here is well documented.

However I still grossly underestimate his worth to the starting 11 and what he offers. For me maybe it's that boring cop-out because he doesn't seem to do anything fancy like prime Izzy would or doesn't quite have the same story as a guy like KT. That still has me feeling like that towards Taylor.

But it does really go to show his importance to the balance of the team that a LB can come out and it have such a detrimental effect on our game.

Juranovic is quick and the worst we’ve ever seen Bernabei play in a Celtic strip was up against a quick winger that would run at him in Josh Ginnelly for Hearts.

Was hit by a metal object yesterday thrown by a scum fan. Bottle opener apparently.

I don’t think him going off was the turning point in the game we lost control around then though. But our LB going off shouldn’t swing the momentum in a game like that, was more likely Harts moment. I get that if he stayed on their goals might have been avoidable though as JJ was not there it seemed.

Taylor going off absolutely started the downward spiral for us. JJ came on and was immediately targeted by the huns. Taylor is a legend

The Hart brainfart definitely got their crowd going and the players tails up a bit, but Taylor going off was huge, he supports Maeda really well down the left and once JJ came on and looked half-cut we completely lost that side of the pitch.

He also supports Callum McGregor. When he went off till Mooy came on McGregor was the only option for a pass out from the back, and they were paying very close attention to that.

The turning point was Hart getting caught on the ball. We were in total control of the game until that point.

Aye. Losing Taylor was a big blow, but we were cruising until Hart * up. The crowd were getting on top of their players and they were making mistake after mistake.

Honestly can't think of a "better" example of a shift of momentum, outside of a goal being scored.

Still no news on his injury ? Probably good timing considering our run of fixtures, if he has to miss a few.
