Still a bit gutted that Maeda missed that. The place and the players would have gone mental.

Ah well, will just have to settle for winning the LEAGUE TITLE.

 

Honestly don't get the "Juranovic class" comparison.

What does that mean? There is absolutely nothing to say he has contributed more than Taylor or Ralston this season for me. If anything it's stalemate, or he's done less.

Not saying Juranovic doesn't show finesse the other 2 don't have, but I don't believe we'd be champions if it was just down to only Juranovic.

 

I was fuming at Maeda until I remembered it was his weaker foot haha

 

Jura’s positioning, covering, ability on the ball and all round play is genuinely up there above most in our team. Right up there with McGregor. Sometime he has brain farts and doesn’t do what he can, he has another level in him, but as a player he is what I’d say is a genuine European/International class player on the ball and off it.

Doesn’t mean he’s the most effective there that though, because Ralston’s passing and end product has outshined him easily. But he’s a guy that would find it easier in leagues like Serie A or La Liga. He’s a class player. But he has a guy pushing for his place that can stake a claim because he can be more effective.


It’s like Samaras was a class player and more comfortable at a higher level, but when it was him or Commons competing for left wing against each other Samaras wasn’t the right option 90% of our games because Commons was more effective. Or Samaras and Stokes as well.

 

Don’t really understand this. Obviously Taylor and Ralston have contributed massively. Nobody is doubting that.

But it’s fairly clear that Juranovic is just that step above those two as a player.

 

And my point is that even though he may be technically the better player he has arguably contributed less to this season's success than either Taylor or Ralston.

My opinion is that without Taylor or Ralston this season we wouldn't have won the league, I do think we could have won it without Juranovic. That takes into account Juranovic wasn't there for a number of games at the start and both of the others were.

Not saying that anyone with a different opinion are wrong, just putting forwards my opinion.

 

Think the boy has definitely became 1 of us now and turned , similar to McCann with that mob

 

Think he's been great since his return from injury offers alot going forward surprisingly lol much the same as ralston

Well done to him. I think he’s a good player but I can agree with most here that we need another left back of better quality. Isn’t that Iraq player meant to be a LB?
