His movement and the way he combines with Jota is night and day compared to Scales. If we do update the position next season, I think like Ralston he'll be a good squad player to have (domestically at least).

 

I've given him plenty of grief when he plays badly so it's only right he gets praise for today. Thought he was excellent. Well done, keep it going.

 

His runs were superb earlier. Him and Jota worked brilliantly..

 

Credit where it's due, he's definitely increased his consistency the past while. If he keeps it up he'd definitely would have a part to play as backup/squad player if we can get someone better in over the summer tho.

 

Helped Jota having him there. It is all very safe and risk averse when he's on the ball but creates space well for others. Still an upgrade massively needed, need so much more in your locker to be a fullback at Celtic.

 

Good to see him giving it tight to Hart for some of those passes 2nd half. Played well and deserves the credit as i usually dont give him any.

 

Not to pick him apart while he's on a high but yes he'd be a great squad player. I just think if we have European ambitions then we'll need to start thinking a level above Taylor.

A game of two halves for him. Much better 2nd half but plays himself into trouble a bit. A bit unlucky not to score too.

I’m a big critic of Taylor, but I thought he was good tonight.

 

Solid and reliable at domestic level.
Out of his depth at European level.

 

Did well again but I still want us to find an upgrade in the summer.

 

He was decent, works extremely hard and is generally pretty safe in possession. Can definitely do better though.
