[Cross Platform] Grand Theft Auto 5

First time I've played this game online in yonks, it's so hard to pick up from where I left off because its changed so much

 

Been getting back into this and just getting round to the heists.

tbh it's the only game remotely holding my attention span.

 

When I try and play heists I get paired with randoms that fail all the time. Haven't managed to complete one yet

 

been playing a lot more recently, still dont think its as fun as gta 4 to play

 

It's online is *, constantly crashing.. I spend more time trying to join games than play

 

Aye finding it brutal to start heists as a leader and actually getting * to play.

 

Rockstar have * up with the servers, they bought many cheap ones instead of less working ones...totally shocking they got away with this, and still are....I tried it again tonight and spent 2 hours with the game on,i played less than 40 mins gameplay,rest was crashing and stuck in the clouds..

Starting to think 4's online was better. In 4 everyone was usually at the airport at the same time so there was lots of interaction, in 5 everyone is spread out over the map

 

when I click to go on a single race it takes about 10 mins of waiting,heists pop up all the time but then once you join some * leaves and you fail the mission

 

There were usually big gatherings at the airport in V sessions when I used to play online, not been on for a good while though.

 

A perfect example for EA and Rockstar to take noteon regarding online servers is to follow the game Rocket league, the minute you click online you are asked what region suits you and then places you into an easy running server with no problems at all....

GTA and FIFA are utter gash at this, playing in a cup tournament in fifa and then you get to the final only to play a guy from * Pluto and the lag is * and you loose the game....or with GTA just constant cloud crashes

 

Find it ironic that in a game called Grand Theft Auto online you have to buy your cars :smiley-laughing002:

 

The Last team standing non rockstar games are pretty good, stunt drivers v rockets etc

 

I've gave up on the heists, no one wants to join and even after waiting 20 mins to get 4 players some * quits or something.

 

Been in my bed the past 3 days dying wih tonsillitis and finally mustered up the energy to set this up on PS3 in my room.

Never bothered playing it before for some reason. I'm more of an all out Fifa type of 'gamer' :smiley-laughing002:

Is this worth it or should I crack out the Burnout Paradise? Or just another Fifa Career mode :icon_mrgreen:

 

The Story mode is worth playing, you need a lot of patience for GTA Online though

 

Cheers.. Yeah I've no intention of playing online

 

I know a few people who play online. I hadn't played online since before xmas, but went on recently and couldn't get into it. They've changed it to much. Can't even get a proper race now

 

Bored of this already

 

Rockstar doesn't have a clue when it comes to GTA Online, there should be a filter where fan made missions/races/etc.. aren't included when searching for a game mode to play
